A Strange Morning

Winter and Zeus^^

"Stop it! You're not cute!" I playfully said

"Babe c'mon, you know you love it." Liam shot back

I crossed my arms over my chest and turned away from him. A few seconds passed before I felt his big strong arms wrap around my waste and his lips on my ear.

"Say you love it or you'll be sorry." He seductively whispered

I unlached his arms and quickly spun around before slamming him against the wall. I brought my face so close our lips almost touched, I spoke against his lips.

"I wouldn't threaten if I were you." I growled

"Oh yeah? And what are you going to do about it?" He shot back

He leaned in to kiss me but I pushed him back again before saying, "Keep going and you'll find out. We both know that when it comes to you that I am very hard to resist." A smirk formed on my lips.

His smile fell, and his eyes grew dark. He gripped my arms painfully tight before throwing me to the floor.

He chuckled darkly, "You are so pathetic, the only way you can have me is in your dreams."

Confusion swept across my mind, "Dreams? What are you talking about?"

He knelt down next to me and leaned in,"Bark! Bark! Bark!"

My eyes shot open and I sat up with a loud gasp. I looked to my side to see Winter barking at me.

Poor baby probably needs to go potty.

I sighed and turned to the other side of the bed to see Amanda start shifting from her sleep. She groaned before saying, "Someome shut that damn alarm off please!" I let out a hardy laugh before hushing Winter up.

Getting up, I walked into my bathroom,brushed my teeth and then put on my slippers. After putting the dogs on their leashes we made it inside the elevator and were headed to the main lobby. Greeting Rex as we walked outside we did our morning routine.

After about 10 minutes I cleaned up the mess the dogs made and started towards the elevator.I listened to the soft elevator music and waited for the ding to let us know we were on our floor. I opened the front door and unleashed my little furry beasts. I watched as they ran around and began to wrestle with each other.

Shaking my head I made my way to the kitchen and turned on the coffee maker. I opened up the fridge door, sticking my head inside and searched for my breakfast.

We never have any food.

"Ugh lame, what to eat what to eat what to e-"

"Good morning!"

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"I jumped out of my skin and screamed bloody murder. I spun around to see Owen standing there in a plain white t-shirt and some sweatpants. With a shocked look on his face he put his hands up in surrender.

I sighed and felt my muscles relax, "Dammnit Owen you scared the crap outta me!"

He laughed before replying,"Yeah and you scream like a girl! Hahha"

I playfully slapped his arm," Shut up!"

He looked at me with a genuine smile and replied "It's cute, I like it."

I felt my cheeks get warm and I quickly turned away.

Relax, its not flirting. He has a boyfriend.

"So I gather you're a morning person?" I asked while getting out a loaf of bread

"Yes sir! It is such an amazing day outside!"

Holy crap. He is sooo chipper

He's happy.

There goes that second voice again, I am surprised I'm not bursting in tears. Well granted I usually block off my emotions until I am either ready to deal with them or until I can't take it anymore.

"What is with all the damn screaming! I need my beauty sleep for crying out loud!" Amanda came bursting through the kitchen door with her hair in a messy bun and her makeup smudged.

I stepped back and took in her appearence, "Well go back to bed and try again hun, it didn't work." Owen and I started laughing

She narrowed her eyes at me, "Bitch." We all chuckled and she walked to the coffee machine.

"Amanda you have a little something on your face." Owen said with a small smile

She shot her head around so fast I'm surprised her neck didn't snap. "You're not exactly the picture of perfection either troll!"

He blinked in shock at her seriousness.

It's only okay when I do it.

"Yeah, Owen let me re-introduce you two. This is the evil croan that hates the morning sun, Amanda. Amanda, meet Owen the new mary poppins in our lives. Try not to murder each other while I enjoy my breakfast"

"You call toast breakfast?" Amanda asked

"She's right you know, breakfast is the most important meal o-"

"Ugh eww shut up and tone down the butternut sunshine act please!"

Owen turned and narrowed his eyes, "Just because you're PMSing doesn't mean you make everyone else feel like crap too." he said lowly

Looks like Mandy just broke Mary Poppins' umbrella.

"Excuse me?!?" She growled back, taking a step toward him. Owen took a step toward her as well and spoke in her face, "Shut your negative mouth or I will break your jaw."

My mouth dropped to the floor; no one has ever spoken to Amanda like that except me.

Daaaaammmn!

Amanda chuckled evily and smirked, "Aww GI-Joe is making big boy threats. That's twice now you've gotten on my nerves, keep it up and I'll just get rid of you all together."

Daaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmnn!!

Owen raised his eyebrows and leaned in so close their noses almost touched before whispering, "I'd LOVE to see you try."

DDDAAAAAAAMMMMNNNN!!!!!!!!

She took one last look in his eyes and tilted her head. A smile broke out on her face,"I like you!"

Owen laughed and said a simple "Likewise"

That was pretty good.

I shut my mouth and turned to finish up my toast.

What a strange morning.

I'm sorry if its a boring chapter but I am already working on the next one and will get it up ASAP. I sort of gave up on this story tbh, but thank you to those two new people who voted for my story.
