The two of them walked into the great hall, hand in hand, Rose was excited to introduce Jack to her friends - however she was still wondering what she's gonna say to them when Jack's death comes up.

The great hall turned they're heads in their direction, trying not to make it seem obvious that they we're looking at them due to Rose never being with anyone after Cho.

Ginny grinned upon seeing Rose and Jack, she quickly tapped Hermione's shoulder - causing her to follow Ginny's eyeline.

"Thank merlin, we we're worried about you, you disappeared into thin air" Hermione spoke hurriedly as she wrapped her arms around Rose, giving her a quick hug.

"I'm fine, Hermione, i swear" Rose laughed slightly at her friends concern, whilst Jack watched with a fond smile.

He was happy Rose had someone with her whilst he was, well dead.

"Right" Hermione said with an embarrassed blush tinting her cheeks, before she looked at Jack.

"Oh right, i'm Hermione Granger, Rose's best friend, you must be Jack?" Hermione questioned, even though she knew the answer.

"It's nice to meet you Hermione, and yeah i'm Jack" He replied with a slight grin.

Ron walked over, having just finished his chicken as he approached Jack, he looked at him with a blank face for a second before patting his back "i've seen a lot about you mate, i'm Ron by the way, Ron weasley"

Jack furrowed his eyebrows as Ron said 'seen' as far as he knew he didn't have a picture with Rose, deciding to dismiss it as a mistake he smiled "It's nice to meet you, Ron"

He finally turned to Rose, deciding to ask her the question that had been playing in his mind "Anyways, Rose you told me you'd tell me about the magic situation"

Rose blinked, before sighing, she knew she shouldn't really break the statue of secrecy however she didn't want to lie to Jack, but his personal life has been on display for a bunch of strangers so he at least deserves to know where he is, after all he did sacrifice his life for her.

"Your at Hogwarts - a school for wizards and witches" Rose spoke after taking a deep breath, she could only hope he didn't think she was crazy or making it up, if she was Jack she wouldn't believe her.

Jack stared at Rose in surprise - he didn't believe Rose would lie to him but surely magic couldn't be real?

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jack questioned, shoving his thoughts down for Rose.

"I couldn't risk it, Jack. The statue of secrecy is important and i would've got my wand snapped, i'm sorry." Rose spoke guiltily, she knew either way she couldn't had told him but it didn't ease the guilt. Not one bit.

Jack sighed, he was still confused why Rose wouldn't tell him but he didn't want to linger on the conversation, after what happened on the Titanic he didn't want Rose to feel guilty, he just wanted to spend time with her.
