After a few days on the road, mary and pytho stopped at a gas station to re-fuel, pytho got out of the car and mary drove next to a stall and got out to re-fuel the car, pytho walked around surveying the area, "so this is what the outside world looks like huh" pytho said, "oh you've seen the bare minimum" mary replied, suddenly, they heared rustling in the bushes, "wh-who's there!?", pytho called out, more rustling was heared, pytho ran back to the car to get his baseball bat and ran back to confront the mystery being rustling in the bushes, "whos there!?, i have a bat and im not afraid to use it!", more rustling was heard.
Then, out pops out a...hybrid?, the hybrid appeared to have dog like parts like ears and a tail of one, seemingly from a german shepherd , he was like pytho, a hybrid!, he has his back to pytho, and he held a revolver, aimed at where he came out of, he shouted "you fucking come out here right now, or else i'll shoot your fucking face off", pytho slowly crept and stood beside the hybrid kid, "w-whos out there" pytho asked, "i don't know who or what, it is but its out there".
"Who are you anyways" pytho asked, "Aurie, aurie shepherd, well, the shepherd isn't really my last name, i don't know what my last name is, so i made it shepherd.", "woah...thats a nice name, my name's pytho btw, pytho fernandez",
"if your name is pytho, then why are you a shark hybrid then?" aurie asked, "i don't really know why" pytho replied, "do you have any siblings?" Aurie asked, "yeah, an older sister", "well, where is she?", "over there, fueling the car", "pytho we're heading out in a few, whos your friend over there?" mary shouted, pytho guestured for aurie to come with them, aurie agreed, pytho and aurie got on the back of the pick-up truck, mary got in the driver's seat and they drove off.
The back window could be retracted down and mary pulled down the back window and spoke up "hey new kid, whats your name?" she said, still focusing on the road, "im aurie, aurie shepherd" aurie replied, "cool name, how old are you?" mary asked once more, "14" aurie said, "14!???" pytho said, shocked, "yeah..how old are you two?" aurie asked, "18 and 15" pytho said, "wait...you're 15!?, when???" aurie asked, shocked, "a few days ago, august 5" pytho said, "dang, im younger than you by a year..." aurie said, "well lets cut this chit chat short, dont want to distract the driver" pytho said, he chuckled a bit, and mary pulled up the back window and continued driving on.
