Talons of twilight

✿~Chapter 4~✿

"A war will be starting soon. As we are all skywings who supported scarlet and she was recently killed by her daughter, Ruby. And Scarlet sent a skywing army to attack the seawings, we never finished the attack and we lost many soldiers." The skywing went on. "So we want to finish the battle that we started. And if you don't surrender and help us, then we will have to kill you as we are not accepting dragons on the loose spreading word about this war." the skywing hissed in a threatening tone. Then Sunny stepped up. To speak but was cut off by Tsunami.

"We will never help you!" Tsunami hissed.

"As you wish!" the skywing said, stepping aside to reveal an army of about 20 skywings. suddenly almost all of the seawings shot at the skywing but were pinned down. Soon the other dragons at the school started fighting but some skywings stood there. I should enchant the seawings to have super strength! Lavender thought enchant the seawings of jade mountain to have super strength against the skywings. Then the seawings that were pinned down slashed the skywings and started fighting against them. Lavender dashed in to help them. Luckily Lavender had some battle training and invulnerable scales so she had no problem defeating the skywings except for she didn't like seeing or worse being in bloody battles. Then she came across the skywing who was leading the army and held her up by the neck. She took out her sharp talons, pointed her tail at the skywing, bared her fangs and hissed, smoke and frosty air coming out of her snout. "You think you could kill me?" the skywing choked.

"I most certainly could," lavender hissed in the most mature and threatening voice possible.

"I'd like to see you try," the skywing chuckled.

"My pleasure," Lavender said as she let go of her neck. Then lavender slashed at the skywing's snout with her tail and stabbed her talons into her leg as she howled in pain. Then fell to the ground. Lavender grabbed the skywings tail and dragged her outside and threw her down the mountain. Even though her scales were invulnerable, lavender could still feel a little pain. Lavender camouflage because there were a few injured students left in the room. She waited as they limped or walked out of the room. Once no one was there she used a spell to make everyone forget what happened in history class that day, then dragged all the dead skywings out of the room. She then cleaned all the blood from the walls and floor.. Once done she walked to her room to find flame staring at the roof and sharkbite still awake.

"Crazy day, huh?" sharkbite said with a smile as lavender walked in the room.

"Yep" lavender sighed as she flopped on her hammock and quickly jumped back out wincing from the scratches and bruises. This time she slowly and carefully climbed onto her hammock. And lavender fell asleep almost seconds after climbing into her hammock.

Lavender woke up very early that morning. She decided to visit one of the underground lakes. as she was swimming around she remembered when she was very young and was kidnapped by a skywing that looked very similar to the one she threw down the mountain yesterday. Maybe that was her. She remembered waking up after hearing the skywing scream "NOO!!!" and dropped lavender out of the sky. That voice sounded similar . Then she heard a splashing sound. Lavender whipped around and saw nothing. She dove underwater and saw a blurred figure. It looked a pale blue and white. Whatever or whoever it is was a very strong swimmer. Lavender feared she was being attacked, And went camouflage to hide from whoever was there. As soon as she was camouflage she heard someone whisper "let's go!" and whoever was in the water shot out and flew out the hole in the ceiling and she was followed by two other dragons. Once the dragons were on the roof lavender crept up behind them and listened to their conversation.

"So what are we doing again?" one voice said.

"fulfilling a prophecy!! This is the last time i'm telling you Quartz," another voice said very annoyed.

"Well where are we going!!" the one called Quartz exclaimed.

"We are stopping at the kingdom of the sea to learn more from queen coral." the same voice said.

"But the summer palace was destroyed!" Quartz screamed.

"Exactly! So how am I supposed to get in!!" a new voice said.

"Flame, we have animus magic!!" the voice said.

Flame sighed.

"Wait. but isn't our entire winglet part of the prophecy?" a different voice asked.

"Probably" the first voice said.

"THEN HOW DO WE FUFIL IT!!?" the new voice groaned.

"I left summer and evergreen a note so they know where to find us."

"And we're just going to wait for them to come?"

"YES!" the first voice yelled. "Lets go," then they lifted off to the sky. Lavender followed them as they raced off to the seawing kingdom.
