• elle's pov • i shut my alarm off, and slowly got out of the pit i call my bed.
"oh shit, sorry monty" i slightly yell, my voice still a little hoarse from the amount of singing i'd done last night in the shower. monty groaned, trailing behind me as i made a bee line to the kitchen of my apartment.
as soon as i grabbed his bowl, he perked up, ears forward, tilting his head to look even cuter to get more food.
"yes, you're cute. no, not more food." i laughed, getting some meat out of the fridge, mushing it up and putting some supplements etc on it for him in his slow feeder bowl.
"sit. wait." i said, as i put his bowl down. "break." i soon say, monty practically leaping to his food. i just chuckle, getting myself some toast and sitting down, scrolling through instagram.

so.. yeah, im now an f1 driver, what the fuck. im excited, but nervous. what will people think of me? will i be as good as max? well, we'll find out soon enough.
i put my phone down, and washed my plate and monty's bowl, before getting changed into some denim shorts, a black cropped top, and some white socks, intending to have a day at home.
i let monty out onto the balcony as i had a small patch of grass for him to yk on etc. i sat down on the sofa, and as soon as i did, arthur charged in.
"get up. we're going out!" he yelled as he grabbed my arm, launching me on the sofa. "where- and why?" i asked as i shook him off, letting monty back in as he jumped onto arthur, greeting him.
"to meet your new grid mates!" he said, chucking some shoes at me. "don't throw them, you little shit. they're expensive." i mumbled as i slid my white air forces on.
arthur grinned, saying goodbye to monty as we left and locked my apartment, taking the lift down and getting into his car, avoiding some paparazzi that had followed him to my building.
"shit, is my outfit okay? wait, no i need to change to something better!!" i panicked as we left. "you look fine. we're meeting them at the beach, stupid."
"oh, okay." i let out a sigh of relief, relaxing into the seat of his ferrari. as we turned up at one of the beaches in monaco (yes i live in monaco), i saw the crowd of drivers talking to each other, as well as leo!
"i should've brought monty!" i huffed.
"you get out, ill go get him"
"omg, i love you, thank youuu!" i yelled as i got out of his car, shutting the door and heading towards the crowd.
charles was the first person to see me, and yelled for me to come over.
"elle! its been a while, congrats on the red bull seat!" he said as he hugged me, holding leo in his other arm.
"thank you!" i smiled, stealing leo off him. "your friends coming soon!" i said to him, giving him a hug. i gave him back to charles as arthur pulled up again, running over to him to get monty. i grabbed his lead and walked him over to charles, catching the attention of other drivers when monty started barking.
"calm down dude,he's literally there." i laughed, unclipping his lead as charles put leo down, them immediately running to each other. me and charles both smiled as arthur came up, wrapping his arm round my shoulder.
some other drivers came out, including max, pierre, carlos, lando and lewis.
"elle, nice to meet you finally!" max said first, pulling me in for a hug.
"yeah finally!" i smiled at him, greeting the others that came over. they all congratulated me on the seat, and started talking amongst themselves. i looked around, and saw who i believed to be carlos staring at me. i smiled at him, and was about to speak when i was attacked by monty.
he had found a random bit of seaweed and had jumped up onto me, leaving it on my shirt.
"you're gross." i peeled it off my shirt as the other drivers laughed, giving monty the attention, along with leo. i chucked the seaweed to the side and called monty to my side, him laying between my legs with leo in arthur's arms.
a few hours passed, and arthur drove me and monty home. i thanked him, gave monty his dinner and got myself some take out, before heading to bed.
this season is definitely going to be interesting.
