You hated being antisocial sometimes. First of all, you had no friends except yourself and a little kitten you have as family because you live all by yourself in a big apartment with an older sister. At school, you isolated yourself from everyone else and got A's with no one really caring. Your school was huge. There were four floors and there was even an elevator.
On a normal day, you were calmly going through your locker when all of a sudden, a huge group of boys suddenly surround you. You stare at them all and recognize a few of them. The only ones you knew were Seokmin, Mingyu, Minghao, Seungkwan, Hansol, and... Lee Chan. Otherwise known as Dino. Your crush since sixth grade.
"Hello _______," Hansol says, smirking.
Your eyes widen in shock. How do they know you?!
"H-hi...." You mumble, looking down at your Nike Air Forces.
"Nice shoes you got there," one of them says in English.
You look up at a guy who looked very tall and kind, but didn't say anything, very afraid that he would be mean like how the other guys were acting based on how they all surrounded you. Your gaze shifted from your shoes to theirs.
"Well... We'll all meet here after school then," Seungkwan says to break the silence,"is that okay _______? Maybe you could hang out with us too?"
"Um... S-sure... It's f-fine," you stutter, softly closing your locker and trying to get between a shorter boy and a very intimidating guy. The intimidating one grabs your arm and pulls you back.
"First, you have to promise to hang out with us!" One of them cheers happily. His blonde hair bounced with him as he jumped a little.
"Hoshi! Don't force her!" The English-speaking guy from before said.
"Mianhae Joshua hyung."
"She has to come." Someone else adds.
Your gaze moves to Dino, who smiles cutely and laughs.
"You'll come, right _____?" He asks, looking into your eyes.
You stare into his eyes for a few seconds and nod a little.
"O-okay..."
The guys high five each other as girls screams were heard from down the hallway.
"Oh, gotta run!" Hansol says, waving at you.
"See ya later _______!" Minghao and Seungkwan call.
Your heart beat a little as you walked to the dance studio for free period, which was in the direction the guys were going. Free period lasted for an hour and a half and then school was over. Your eyes wandered the room to see a few of the fan girls.
"Have you seen DK oppa?!" One squeals.
"We're looking for Dino!!!!"
"Nu uh. We are obviously looking for Joshua and Vernon!"
You laugh at them because you never really liked them and shake your head while telling them that you haven't seen the boys at all. The girls go away and you sigh in relief and get ready to dance. You stare into the mirror as the music for SEVENTEEN "Adore U" started... It was one of those mirrors where you could see someone but they couldn't see you. You felt as if you were being watched but shoved the thought away as you started dancing and singing/rapping. You loved rapping to this song because of the lyrics and style. As you danced and lay in the last stance on the floor, you heard the door to the back of the mirror open. You glance and see... Dino?!?!
You quickly sit up and turn to him.
"W-were you watching the whole time?!" You question, standing.
"Yes!" He replies happily."you were very good! If only Hoshi hyung saw you dance~!"
You blush and look at him. He smiled brightly and came up to you.
"Um... Thank you, Lee Chan," you tell him, looking away while rubbing your arm.
"Just call me Dino," he says, moving so you're looking at him.
You just nod and go back to your backpack and take out a few papers and a pen. All of a sudden, a thought comes to you.
"Why were you back behind the mirror?" You question Dino, who was looking at you when you met his eyes.
"Oh... I was... H-hiding and watching for someone," he replies a little flustered.
"Who?"
"..."
You set your current lyrics you were writing down and place a book on top so no one saw it.
You felt slightly uncomfortable doing this because you guys just started talking today only thirty minutes ago. Dino looks away and you take his cheek and pinch it a little.
"Cmon tell me!" You say."you can trust me! ... Even though we just met..."
Dino grins a toothy grin and looks at you with a soft gaze as his face gets a little pink. Omo so cute~^^
"I was waiting for you..."
Your eyes widen in shock and your hand falls from his cheek to your side. You step back a little to look at him.
"R-really?" You ask, clearly not ready for what he had just said.
"Yeah... _______," he starts, "I've been watching you dance since sixth grade... When you would sneak off during lunch just to dance. The first day you came in I hid... And I watched. I'm totally amazed and... And I want you to be mine. When the guys were talking to you and I only said a few words... I got a little jealous...."
Your eyes searched his for a second and his gaze finally locked onto yours. You give him a natural eye smile and hug him tightly. He stiffens slightly but immediately hugs back.
"Of course I'll be yours," you whisper in his ear. "I've always liked you too... You don't know how much I wanted to become an idol to be at your standards..."
"Oh, but you're already at my standards."
You pull back and look at him quizzically and he smirks while pulling you towards him and connects his lips with yours. You kiss back passionately and Dino pulls back a little and you pout.
"I knew your cuteness would come out with some playfulness~" Dino coos, takin your hand and twirling you. "It's going to be fun later once I tell the guys you're all mine, _______."
You giggle and nod while stopping and hugging him again.
"I love you Lee Chan."
"I love you ______."
