Catnap's POV

I woke up in a completely white room. I don't remember how I got here at all though. All I remember seeing the Prototype right before he was about to save me, but then everything faded to black. Where was I? Out of no where, I heard a familiar voice.

"Oh, come on, you're here?" I turned to the right and saw him. Dogday.

"Oh, for fucks sake." I said.

"Looks like I was right. The Prototype betrayed you." My eyes widened when he said that. Could the Prototype really have killed me?

"Y-you're lying. He would nev-"

"Yes, he would! We tried to tell you, and now we are all dead. You treated him like a god, and now you're here." He said.

"Where even is here?" I asked.

"I don't know, I've been here for days, waiting for something to happen. But now, you're here which is FANTASTIC." He said, rolling his eyes.

"Look, I gave you a chance to join me, but you were too stubborn to listen."

"I was too stubborn?! YOU were too stubborn! I tried to tell you, the Prototype was using you. A lot of people and toys died, and the blood is on your paws." I thought about what he said. Was I really the bad guy here?

"And to think, you were my best friend. I cared deeply for you, and so did everyone else. Now we are all dead. All of us." I began to think about what he was saying. Could it be true?

"Dogday, I-" I was cut off by bright lights shining down on us. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, we were in a house.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"I don't know." I opened the front door and saw a bright, grassy field. It looked just like our home, but at the same time, it didn't. None of the others houses were there, just this one.

"Dogday, I think we are back. It looks just like it did before the Hour of Joy, but none of the other houses are here." I said.

"I know. And this house, it looks like mine, but also like yours." He said. I looked around and realized, he was right. The house had black walls, with an orange couch with purple pillows. The kitchen had the same color scheme on all the pantries, as well as the oven and the refrigerator.

"Hey, Dogday?"

"What?"

"I feel really...different. The Prototype feels like he's so far away, I'm not under his control it seems, and I just wanted to say, I'm sorry. I know, I did really shitty stuff, I killed everyone, and I know you probably will never forgive me for all the stuff I'm done, but I want to try and be better." He looked at me sympathetically.

"You're right. I probably will never forgive you for what you did." A tear streamed down my face.

"But, I appreciate you trying to change and I will support you with that decision. Besides, the Prototype made you do it, so blaming you for everything doesn't really seem fair. Plus, it doesn't seem like we can leave this place, so we might as well get along." He said. I felt relieved knowing he doesn't completely hate me.
