Dogday's POV

We finally have the sleepover tonight! I jumped out of bed and made myself some coffee, Catnap crawling out of bed behind me.

"How do you always have so much energy in the morning?" Catnap asked jokingly.

"Today's the day of the sleepover, so I'm excited! I replied.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." He said. Silly kitty.

"You know Catnap, I've been meaning to tell you something for a while...it has something to do with yesterday morning." I said. Catnap looked at me confused.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Well..." I walked over to him and whispered in his ear, causing his eyes to widen and him to look at me.

"O-oh! You really feel that way? I don't see anything wrong with them, but if you do I understand." He asked. I shyly nodded, looking away from him to hide my red face. He pulled my face close to him, my torso between his legs.

"I love you, Dogday. I won't judge you for anything." He said. It made me happy he didn't judge me for my -REDACTED-, I think they are too big and I'm worried that makes me look ugly.

"I love you too, Catnap. Thanks for understanding. When you did that yesterday, I worried you thought they were hideous." He pulled me in closer, our lips only a centimeter or two away from each other.

"Literally nothing about you is hideous." Catnap said. We began to kiss passionately when we heard a knock on the door. I pulled away and wiped the saliva off of my mouth disappointedly, before opening the door.

"Hey Bubba, come on in." I said. Bubba nodded and walked inside, sitting on the couch.

"Alright, how are you two doing?" He asked. Catnap and I told him we are doing great, as he pulled out a notepad and began to ask questions.

"Dogday, how did you arrive at Playtime Co.? I mean before you were Dogday, when you were a human child. Bubba asked.

"Well, I remember when my mom woke me up at about 5 in the morning, and told me that we were going to Playtime Co. At first I was confused, because my mom usually hated me and liked my sister more, but when I realized she wasn't messing around with me like usual, I got so excited! I put on my  clothes, ate breakfast, and brushed my teeth faster than I ever have before. I opened the car door and got in, realizing my sister wasn't there. I asked my mom where my sister was, and she said she wanted to stay home. The whole way there I was wondering what kind of toy I could get. When we arrived there, my mom signed me into the adoption center, but I thought she was signing me up to play games. She left the room, which I thought was because she was going to grab some food for us, but she never came back. I played with the other kids for hours, waiting for my mom. Those hours became days, and those days became weeks, and then months, and even years. My mom left me here so that my sister was the only child in my house. In my head, I always thought she would come back, but she never did. After about 3 years of being there, the scientists turned me into Dogday, and I didn't remember my old life at all." I said. Bubba wrote this all down, as Catnap looked at me with wide eyes.

"You never told me this..." Catnap said.

"I'm sorry, we've only been in this place for a few days, and I only remembered when we got here, so I didn't have time to tell you yet." I said. Catnap looked at me understandingly.

"Catnap, how did you get here?" Bubba asked.

"I knew my parents were dropping me off here, but for good reasons. They didn't have much money and they wanted me to have a nice childhood. They told me in 2 years they would come back for me, but I was turned into Catnap a few months after I arrived and when my parents came back, they were told I killed myself for missing them too much." Catnap said. I hugged him tightly, feeling bad that they made it impossible to see his family again. Bubba wrote all of this down, flipping the page.
