As she made her way to the top of the shrine, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. The thought of Mikey leaving her crossed her mind hundreds of times.
Mikey deserves to know. She thought to herself. So, she continued up the stairs, her stomach churning with each step.
She took one final step before she had finally made it to the top. She knew her boyfriend was a gang leader, but she still loved him, and didn't care too much. Only the occassional worry when he had come late to their sleepovers.
But now she has to worry about what he might do when he finds out about their little conception from the last sleepover. Oh, how that night was still fresh in her mind.
Loud cheers had awoken her from her daydreaming. Knowing that he would be done soon, her heart began to race once more. The horrible thoughts entering her mind again. But she took a deep breath and did her best to calm her nerves, and slowly made her way to one of the members.
"Excuse me?" Her tone was quiet and soft, not wanting to draw much attention to herself.
When the boy turned around, he surely wasn't expecting to see such a beauty. Her raven hair flowed down her back gracefully. Her bright blue eyes shining in the moonlight, but it was her gentle smile paired with a light hint of blush illumanating on her cheeks was what topped it all off. He himself could feel his own cheeks starting to burn.
"Are you alright, sir?" She asked, a hint of worry in her tone.
He cursed himself in his mind before giving the girl an awkward smile whilst rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sorry about that." He looked down at the girl. "What did you need, miss...-"
"Hanagaki Takemichi." Her smile grew.
The boy could feel his whole face start to burn. Her smile was so bright, it almost felt like it was blinding the man.
"-miss Hanagaki?"
"Could you get Mikey-kun for me? I have some urgent business to discuss with him. And just Takemichi is fine."
"Oh, uh sure, Takemichi." He gave her an awkward smile before leaving her, making his was to his leader.
He looked over his shoulder a few times to make sure the girl was safe. He even seen some other dudes looking back, whispering and wondering as to why a girl was amoungst them. He too was curious, but decided not to pry.
He stopped infront of Mikey, who was speaking with his fellow Vice Commander and first through sixth devision captains.
"Commander." He bowed.
Mikey looked over, started at him for a few seconds before looking away, uninterested.
Another man let out a sigh and turned to the boy.
"What do you need?" A deep, smooth voice spoke up. He recognized who it was instantly. His vice commander, Ryuguji Ken, or better know as, Draken.
"There is a girl wanting to speak with the commander."
"Emma's here?" This time it was a more rough, deep voice.
"Actually-"
He was cut off by his Commander.
"No, she's at home."
"Then who is it?"
"She said her name was-"
He got cut off again, this time by the first division captain, Baji Keisuke.
"It has to be Emma, she's the only girl Mikey talks too."
"Hey!"
"Well it's true!"
"You wanna go, Baji!"
"I mean he's not wrong Mikey."
"Ken-chin!"
"Stop calling me that!"
"Her name is Hanagaki Takemichi!"
That seemed to stop all the arguing, but now all of the attention was on the boy who was still bowing.
"Ta...ka...michi?"
He nodded his head, his body rising with anxiety from the silence.
"Where is she?" His tone was deep and dark. Like the playful one that was there a few seconds ago.
"N-near the ste-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Mikey raced towards the steps, leaving everyone speechless. _______________
