Chapter 8 *being mean*

James and Bridget walked out of the forest and got closer to Merlin academy. They talked a lot about their lives and Bridget finally got to know more about him: His mother is a pirate that has teached him all he knows on piracy, his Dad left them when he was just a baby and he hasnt got any siblings but he considers his dog as the sister he never had.

"So how long since you rescued her?"

"Oh It's been 2 years now, me and her grew very close you know. I think she's the 2nd best thing that ever happened to me."

"What's the 1st then?"

"The girl." He said stopping walking. He continued: "Bridget, can i tell you something?"

"Yeah What's up?

"Dont tell anyone but..."

"But?"

"But neither me nor any mean kids are actually that evil. We just follow Uliana. She put hard pressure on us to act like she needs us to. But it's not what I really want to be. Of course playing pranks is funny but Uliana goes too far on hers and we have to get along with it and not say anything or she will get a revange on us. I'm really tired Bridget. My mom is kind, I want to be like her and not end up like a villain."

"James... You know, you don't have to do this..." she took his hands, just like the time in her dorms. "What's the worst thing she could do? cast a spell on you? If she do, i'll always be there for you, to support you anytime you need. It's never too late to become the good guy James. Never too late."

"How can you be so sweet, Princess?" he whispered.

but she heard.

"James, You're kind but I'm just being myself you know."

they looked at each other for a couple of seconds.

 "Bridget? Tomorrow at 5PM, I'll wait for you at the enchanted lake to tell you something. Will you be there?"

"Oh well if you ask me to, i can't refuse. I'll be there I promise.But You'll have to make me a detailed recap of each seconds of you asking your girl to Castlecoming tho, you heard me?"

"Yes captain!"

Bridget let go of James hands and they kept walking towards the academy. They played with Pearl, talk about baking, piracy, every other interest that they have, they wanted to share everything they love with each other. They even met Ella on the way who had talked again with Bridget of the situation and accepted that James could, maybe, not be as Bad as she said. She ran onto bridget arms Yapping about how Charming has proposed her to the dance but how "annoying" he was and how she "hated those things"; but that she'd maybe go if Bridget accompanied her to the dance. 

The only thing which disturbed Bridget was that feeling in her stomach. It was pain. She knew that tomorrow, an other girl would hang out with James and will get proposed to Castle coming by him. She was... jealous. 

But as the kindest person ever. She was mostly happy for him. He will be so happy that the fact that it would be with an other girl didn't even hurt her that much.
