Chapter 11 *D-day*

D-day.

Bridget is getting ready. Never in her whole life she was that excited. She got her beautiful dress , which she picked really carefully, on. Spend 30 minutes on her hair and an other full hour on her makeup. She needed to be perfect. Maybe she would even have a boyfriend by the end of the day so just imagine her excitement.

She was ready by 7 and Hook arrived at 7:30 which was the time they agreed on. He was uncomfortable.

"Hi princess, may you do me the honor?" He offered his hand pretending, as he could, to be ok.

"Of course !" she took it.

they went to the bal room hand in hand. It was kind of awkward since James felt physically unable to act normal after yesterday incident.

He had to.

It was what was meant to happen.

The bal room was filled with loud music, couples dancing, some making out shamelessly and some friendgroups that decided to go with their friends rather than a date.

Ella was there too, hanging out with her prince. Bridget smiled at her and she responded by doing the same. Bridget and James spent 5 long minutes standing and not doing anything so Bridget obviously noticed something was off.

"James, can we go talk somewhere private please."

"oh. Yes, follow me."

They went outside, in the school garden.

"James, do you regret asking me? Did you ask me because your girl said no and you didn't want to seem like a looser or something? You can tell me, I can understand."

"No bridget! of course not..." 

"Then what's wrong then...? You barely talked, you're distant and you're standing like you don't know how to act. Are you nervous?"

Some students noticed them outside and more and more people started to watch them Which made the 2 of them obviously embarassed. 

However Uliana was so eager to what will be happening next.

"Listen. I lied." Bridget had a confused look on her face.

"What do you mean..?"

"Everything was a lie! I never wanted to date you, neither to go on dates, nor to spend any time with you! That was all a joke. A prank! And you foolish ass literally fell into me??!" He started laughing akwardly "You stupid little pinky perfect princess, nobody would ever want to date you. I can't believe you ever thought I was being honest with you seriously! A princess with a pirate? You really are dum-"

She cuts him off.

"I- I can't believe you lied !!! all of this was a lie?? What the hell is wrong with you??? How could you even think it was fun? I thought you were better than that, I thought you were different from what people think of you and you did me dirty like that??? James Hook what the hell?!!" She looked at him, directly in his eyes.

He saw her beautiful eyes. The ones he likes so much, the ones he could lost himslef in if he stared too long. He saw those eyes filled with tears because of him .He regret everything. But pearl is still most important. He need to do that.

"JAMES ANSWER! YOU CAN'T EVEN TAKE RESPONSABILITIES FOR WHAT YOU DID?"

He stayed silent and turned around to leave. Uliana was laughing out loud, every teens in the gardens were confused and felt bad for Bridget But it felt like a knife in the heart for her. It was so embarassing.

Words cannot described my shame for making yall wait a full 2 month for this... I am so  desesperatly sorry  for the wait, hoping this will make you happy at least. There's like 2 chapter left AT MOST and will try to end it by the end of my holidays (till november 3rd)School make it impossible for me to write while school weeks
