"THE DOJO HAS BEEN SO LAME." valentina complained as her and kenny walked to the nearby arcade.

"like the fact that we're walking instead of taking public transportation." he said as he looked around. "be serious." valentina said shoving him.

kenny laughed at her attempt to knock him over, him only moving a few steps. "there's a rumor in the dojo that we're getting a new sensei."

"what? we already have like six. there's silver and the other five randoms we have." valentina said.

"no but like a fellow head sensei." kenny said. "so like how we had kreese?" valentina asked.

"yeah."

"oo, maybe they're a cool sensei. or maybe even a girl who can understand how mad i get on my period."

"you almost took out kyler's eye, and robby's! in one day." kenny said, laughing remembering the incident.

"and now i have to spar with the stupid dummy."  valentina said crossing her arms and shaking her head.

"speaking of robby, did he try to convince you to leave cobra kai too?" kenny asked.

valentina nodded, "yeah. i don't know why all of a sudden. he left the dojo and he thinks he's like the leader of all of us."

"it's stupid. but with him gone i'm finally not his shadow." kenny said. "i don't know how you stay so respected and on top with tory there, she's like your only competition." he continued

"tory and i joined the dojo at the same time. back when hawk, miguel, and majority of the miyagi kids were all not softies. kreese and johnny were our senseis." valentina said.

"wait so, you've gone through all those changes?" kenny said. "yup, saw when robby switched to cobra kai, and when we became close. the big school fight, when kreese took over. highlight of my middle school year." she said.g

kenny nodded impressed, opening the door to the arcade and holding it as valentina walked in first. "so why doesn't that make you queen cobra like tory?"

"she's won more, and she won the all valley. so i'm just princess cobra. but ill settle, at least i have a nickname unlike some people..."

they waiting in like to exchange their money for tokens, two groups in front of them. "real funny val. but robby's gone, i'll get my title now." kenny said.

"good luck because kyler swears he's gonna be on top soon." valentina said.

kenny sucked his teeth, and valentina laughed at how she had made him mad. "he flings his arms around mid fight. he's an idiot." kenny said.

"oh my gosh i thought i was the only one who sees that!" valentina said, laughing.

valentina and kenny got to the front of the line, giving 50 dollars for a good amount of tokens to keep them occupied for the rest of the day.

both of the teens had an interesting family background, going to each other when they needed some time away. kenny was technically an child, his brother in juvie. his mom was always working, and his dad was away in the military.

for valentina, she was filthy rich. but that came with her parents never being home. they were always on a buisness trip, and she was left with the cleaning and the cook for weeks on end.

so, since kenny and valentina were both home alone they decided to meet at the dojo and then walk to a close arcade to hang out to knock out some time in their boring days.

they thanked the person in front for their tokens, and then walked over to the racing car game they had been eyeing since they had got into the arcade.

"you don't stand a chance, i hope you know that." kenny said as they walked.

"you wish. car games is my specialty." valentina said back.

"sure val."

when they got to the car racing game, valentina rolled her eyes upon seeing anthony larusso and two random kids from miyagi do.

"do you smell that? smells like those losers from miyagi-do." kenny said.

valentina cringed at him, "that was not your best line."

anthony turned around, stopping playing the game when he saw valentina behind him.

"val." he whispered as he stood up, the other two kids following him seeing their enemies.

"—entina. you forgot the rest, we're not on nicknames." valentina said.

"how's your summer been?" he asked, obviously looking nervous.

"it would be better, if kenny and i could play the racing game." valentina said.

kenny smirked, knowing anthony was going to move. "yeah, of course." he said moving out the way.

he told the other too miyagi members to let them play, despite the protests from the boys.

valentina smiled as she went to go sit in the chair anthony was previously sitting in the chair anthony was previously sitting in.

kenny stopped anthony before he walked away, putting his finger in the boys chest.

"back off of val, she doesn't like you. and you're basically obsessed, you're not even her type lapusso. she would never like a pathetic guy like you." kenny said.

anthony nodded, "thanks for the heads up man." he said, then moving away and walking away.
