Darting to the bathroom with hot tears welling up in my eyes I pushed the door to the bathroom open and saw these two girls smoking. There was a tall brunette that had a Coca-Cola figure while the other one had long silky black hair and was slim but of fair height. Both girls looked as if they should be models on the runway instead of smokers in the hallway. The tall one had greenish-blue eyes that I couldn't quite take me eyes off of and the other had dull yet stunning gray eyes. "What are you looking at?" the tall one asked clenching her fists with a mean look on her face as if I was a snitch.

"Uhh I just needed some paper towels to clean my shirt" I stuttered twirling my hair around my fingers. "Let's clear it" the slim one told the brunette looking at me in a way that sent chills down my back. As they left I took a deep breath and approached the paper towel dispenser. I took a few paper towels and stared at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes and nose were crimson and a tear escaped from my left eye.

I directed my attention back to my shirt and analyzed it once more Maddie had gave it to me. My parents could buy me another one but this gift was the most important one that I had ever got. Maddie used all her years pay just to buy me this shirt. My mom and dad paid her very well that if she saved up all her money in 4 years she could buy a mansion with a stupendous view. I sniffed a little and tried to take the stain out to no avail.

Opening my one of a kind fuschia Dior handbag I took out my wipes and gently rubbed it beneath my eyes where my mascara had been running. Studying my appearance in the mirror I cleaned up my face and applied more blush to my nose to cover up the redness. Blinking my eyes a mile a minute I tried to not cry anymore. The fake smile that I always wore appeared on my face and I looked sensational on the outside but felt depressed on the inside. The bell rang had I been in the bathroom that long? oh well I guess I'll just go straight to 4th period I thought.

The door unexpectedly opened and revealed Fiona. She glanced at me and then the hallway and back "are you okay Lylah?" she spoke with uneasiness. "Of course Fi why wouldn't I be" I told her looking at her only through the mirror. "Umm okay well let's get to class then" she said gawking at me with a serious face. Then I smiled that beautiful but fake smile and fixed up my hair a bit.

As we walked out the bathroom Jeremy quickly took me into his arms. The smell of his Clive Christian No.1 cologne always made me feel safe. He took me to an isolated corner "you alright?" he asked with his deep yet affable voice. "Yeah I'm  good for now" I replied  not even looking at him. He lifted my chin until our eyes met and asked "you sure?", "yeah I am" I responded looking away.

"Okay" he said feeling a little hurt and walking away. I watched as he strolled to 4th period with his friends close behind him. "Let's go" Fiona said linking arms with me and heading to our 4th period English Literature class. We got to Mrs. Shepard's class trying to sneak in since we were 20 minutes late. "Ms.Anderson and Ms.Palamaru where have you two been?" she said with a nerve racking voice that made me jump and made Fiona twitch a little.

Her back was towards us and we heard a couple of jerks snickering in front us. Mrs. Shepard turned around and shook her head at us. "Just sit down you two" she demanded us in a voice that was so sweet yet aggitated.
