"That reminds me of the one time my great-great-grandfather, I think- yeah he was, well he always told me that those who have more stories to share talk more, get more chicks, more friends, and more people that like you, that's why-"

"That's why no onea likesu me- no, I meaneu you," said Mr. Kim.

Frank huffs roughly, "What was I in here for again?"

"Oh right, gum."

"Oke, nowa you canu leabu," said Mr. Kim quite pointedley.

Frank put his money for the gum on the store counter, and left.

"Ah, who was that?" said Mrs. Kim, appearing from the stairs and walked towards him.

"Oh, justeu Frankeu. I'm afraid he talks a too much," Mr. Kim said wistfully.

"You talkeu too much," Mrs. Kim said.

"No! You talkeu too much," Mr. Kim yelled.

"If I talkeu too mucheu then how come you were talking witha Frankeu."

"I was just talking witha Frankeu so that he could finally shut up, and pay for his gum."

"I- nevermind."

"Anyway, Jung has girlfriend now," said Mrs. Kim.

"Who?" Mr. Kim asked.

"Kimchee's cousin, Calista."

"What kind of name is Calista? I go call Jung now," said Mr. Kim.

[The phone is on speaker phone]

Ring ring ring ring!

"Jung?"

"Yeah, what is it, Appa?"

"Your Eomma say you have new girlfriend, is that right?"

"No? Why did she say that?"

"He saideu they were having alone time together," said Mrs. Kim.

"I did-"

"So thateu means she's his girlfriend. Boy and girl can't be in same house for too long. Then they get married, and haveu children."

"That's not how that works. Anyway, I promised Kimchee that I wouldn't hit on Calista."

"Why would you hit Calista?" asked Mr. Kim.

"Why you abu-"

"No- no, not hit. I mean- for her to become my girlfriend. I promised him that would never happen. It's just another way of saying it," he explained.

"I'm not her boyfriend, okay?" added Jung.

"We were just spending time together, but we're not dating or even thinking about it. We're just watching movies, and playing games together when Kimchee's gone. Normal friend activities."

"Mhmm," Mrs. Kim said. "I come over there, right now!"

"No, Eomma, don't!"

"Hmm, and why don't you want me to?" asked Mrs. Kim.

"Because- uh- I'm in the shower right now so...you'll have nobody to talk to. And you know how I love hour long showers, right?"

"Yeah- But I can still talk to Castilla, I mean Calista," said Mrs. Kim.

"Oh- I guess-"

---

Mrs. Kim arrived at Kimchee and Jung's apartment. Kimchee had gone out to dinner, so he wasn't home.

"Jung?"

Mrs. Kim noted the loud sound of rushing water.

"WHAT?" Jung yelled over the noise.

"Oh, he's just showering," said Calista. "So, you're Jung's mom?"

"Yes, I came here to meetu you, I was wonderingeu...are you in a relationshipeu withe Jung?"

"No? Why would I be? What did he tell you? Did he say we were in a relationship or something?"

"Yes- Jung said you were having time together, and were in a relationship."

"JUNG!!" Calista yelled.

"What, Calista??"

"YOUR EOMMA SAYS THAT YOU SAID THAT WE WERE IN A RELATIONSHIP!!"

"NO? I NEVER SAID THAT I JUST SAID THAT WE WERE SPENDING ALONE TIME TOGETHER AND PLAYING BOARD GAMES," said Jung.

"That is what he saideu," said Mrs. Kim.

Castila sighed, "I feel bad for doubting him now."

"Well- wait...are you Christian?"

"Yeah, why?" said Castila.

"Oh, good yes. We also praise to the Jesus."

"Uh cool, I guess," said Castila, a bit annoyed with Mrs. Kim, and wanting her out of the apartment.

"Okay, and you looka Korean- Are youa Korean?"

"Yes, I'm Korean."

"And, areu you a cool person?"

"I guess," said Calista, really not feeling it.

"Okay, yes, perfecteu match for Jung."

"Eomma!! I CAN HEAR YOU. AND I DONT NEED A GIRLFRIEND!!!"

Calista laughed.
