I feel so good .:**:.☆*.:。.✿The city of Tokyo never sleeps. Its streets, perpetually alive with neon lights and bustling crowds, are a stark contrast to the quiet serenity Destiny had always longed for. She stood on the balcony of her condo, overlooking the maze of concrete and steel that made up her world. The air was heavy with the scent of rain, the droplets clinging to her skin as she leaned against the railing, lost in thought.
Destiny's life had been a whirlwind ever since she got entangled with the Tokyo Manji Gang at the age of 12. Her involvement wasn't by choice, but rather by fate. She had moved to Tokyo in hopes of a fresh start, away from the shadows of her past. But it seemed destiny had other plans.
"Hey, Destiny! You coming?" a voice called out from inside.
She turned to see her roommate, Yui, peeking through the sliding door. Yui was a vibrant soul, always full of energy and optimism, the perfect counterbalance to Destiny's reserved nature.
"Yeah, just give me a minute," Destiny replied, forcing a smile.
Yui disappeared back into the apartment, leaving Destiny alone with her thoughts once more. The city lights below seemed to blur together, a kaleidoscope of colors that mirrored her chaotic mind. She sighed, pushing herself off the railing and heading inside.
Tonight was supposed to be a night of celebration. Boten and venom had successfully completed a major operation, and everyone was gathering at the usual spot to unwind and revel in their success. Despite her reservations, Destiny knew she had to be there. It was part of the unspoken code, the bond that tied them all together.
---
The bar was already packed by the time Destiny and Yui arrived. The air was thick with laughter and the smell of alcohol. Familiar faces greeted her as she made her way through the crowd, exchanging nods and smiles.
"Destiny! Over here!" Takeomi , a member of boten, waved her over to a table in the corner.
She smiled, making her way over and sliding into the booth next to her. Takeomi was one of the few people in the gang she felt a genuine connection with. He had a kind heart and a relentless determination that she admired.
"Hey, takeomi . How's it going?" she asked, grabbing a drink from the table.
"Pretty good, actually. Tonight's all about celebrating, so just relax and have fun," he replied, clinking his glass against hers.
Destiny nodded, taking a sip of her drink. She tried to let the festive atmosphere wash over her, but her mind kept drifting back to the events of the past few weeks. The constant danger, the adrenaline, the moments of doubt. It was a lot to process.
As the night wore on, the bar became livelier. Laughter and music filled the air, creating a bubble of temporary bliss that everyone seemed to revel in. Destiny found herself loosening up, the alcohol easing her nerves.
"Destiny, come dance with us!" Yui called out, dragging her to the dance floor.
Despite her initial reluctance, Destiny let herself get swept up in the moment. The music pulsed through her veins, the rhythm guiding her movements. For a brief moment, she forgot about the chaos of her life and simply enjoyed the present.
---
It was late by the time the celebration began to wind down. Destiny and akira found themselves sitting outside the bar, the cool night air a welcome relief from the stuffy interior.
"How are you holding up?" Akira asked, concern evident in his eyes.
"I'm okay," Destiny replied, though she wasn't entirely sure if she believed it herself. "It's just... a lot, you know?"
Akira nodded, understanding. "I get it. This life isn't easy. But you're strong, Destiny. Stronger than you realize."
"But I'll tell my sister to lessen your work load you deserve a break"She looked at him, his words resonating deeply. Despite everything, there was a part of her that wanted to believe him, that wanted to embrace the strength he saw in her.
"Thanks, akira. That means a lot," she said softly.
He smiled, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Anytime. We're in this together, remember?"
Destiny nodded, feeling a sense of camaraderie that she hadn't felt in a long time. The night was drawing to a close, but for the first time in a while, she felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could find a way to navigate this tumultuous life.
As they stood up to leave, Destiny glanced back at the bar, the neon lights casting a warm glow on the faces of her friends. It wasn't the life she had envisioned, but it was the one she had. And for now, that was enough.
hey guys I hope you enjoyed the first actually chapter of swang. Stay safe and remember to drink water today!
