=========================

SummerSlam is over and once again, the Anoaʻi brothers were on top of the WWE, Solo, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, none of them could stop the Tribal Chief and the Bloodline's Executioner, it's easy to see what the talking point for the PLE was, if it wasn't Dom turning on Rhea Ripley, it was Roman's and John's return to the squared circle that really took the limelight, especially John's clearing out of Solo's Henchman, people were worried that it just made them look bad but John didn't really do much, just a little side stepping and the big dive, those steps have taken out the best of WWE Stars before, just because John got the upper hand in this one, doesn't mean he will the next time.

Joe: I saw that stuff with Gio...

John and Joe made it back behind the curtain, Gionna wasn't around, apparently she wasn't all to happy with John making his return and he didn't tell her, she's not mad, she's happy for him, just didn't expect it, sure he's been pushing it back in the gym lately but that's just his Samoan pride getting the best of him, his brother's comment though isn't something he did because he didn't know what he meant.

Joe: ... You really cool with that?

They walked towards the SUV to head back towards the hotel, John got a message from Gionna telling him she got a lift back with Demi and the others, she couldn't find him to tell him in person because he was hiding out till the Main Event, not out of spite but because he didn't want to ruin the surprise, so that meant he was lucky enough to catch a lift with his big bro, just like the old days when they, Jimmy and Jey went from town to town, not everyone seemed to like "The Bloodline" but they are brothers and loved being able to work so closely together for as long as they did.

John: What do you mean?

Joe looked to his little brother and John is the little brother, not by much but he's an inch shorter and about 30 pounds lighter, doesn't change anything about them though, Joe still loves his little brother and John still looks up to Joe, no matter how old they get nothing is going to change how close they are, no matter how that "Young Rock" show portrays them, whether you like to admit it or not, the elders weren't going to let Dwayne plaster their history all over Tv like that, it's fake.

Joe: I mean, I'd be pissed if another guy was kissing my girl. Even for a story.

John looked to Joe after he rubbed at his beard trying to find the easiest way to say it, they both dropped their bags into the back as John reached up to close the trunk only when he did, Joe spoke his mind, John never had an issue with it, Dom's a good kid and Gionna's not the type to do that, especially with her past history of bad relationships, Joe's just being his overprotective self.

Joe: Don't get me twisted. I like Gionna, she's cool, but they always are right?

He's talking about the type to break your heart are the cool ones, Gionna's really not like that, John knows those types because he dated them all during his NXT days, John's faced speed bump after speed bump after speed bump when it's come to his love life where Joe's succeeded in having a wife and amazing kids, John just tends to pick the bad apples out of the bunch.

Joe: I just don't want to see my little brother hurt again.

John sighed while he went through a mental recap of all his loves, even in school he was a lousy picker, you can only screw up so much though before you start to wonder if your the problem, he and Gionna have been together for years though, if something was going to pull them apart it would have happened already, he appreciates what Joe's saying but he's pretty sure that he and Gionna are going to be fine.
