You made me laugh the first time I saw you,
We met and we never looked back,
I followed on my blessings,
There was no second guessing 🎼🎤

Ron's POV

"Do you think they heard us?" Clay asked worriedly.

"Baby calm down, my bedroom is soundproof, nobody heard anything," I assured her.

I held her hand as we walked downstairs to join the others for breakfast at the dining table, passing our greetings. I pulled out a chair for her next to mine before taking my seat.

"God we almost died of starvation," Nate said as Larah elbowed him, "Just say hunger," she said to him.

We had our late lunch and were now all in the lounge having small conversations. It was clear that Luca was smitten with Candice, and they were terribly failing to keep it lowkey. The most hilarious thing was them thinking we don't know about their secret romance. Luca and Candice are both important to me, I know them, and I trust that whatever they do, they'll handle it gracefully.

"So, this is family," she mumbled inaudibly followed by a sigh, encircling her arms around my torso.

"Are you okay baby?" I asked her and she nodded.

The day's atmosphere was relaxed, Clay was catching up with the ladies as I did with the guys. We were all getting used to coming together on weekends and it honestly improved our bond in a deeper level. They slowly started leaving for their individual plans, so I guessed.

It was only Clay, and I left in the lounge now cuddled up on the couch. Mimi wanted to have dinner together again, so she had promised Mimi she'd be around. Dark clouds were forming in the sky, so I got up and pulled Clay up with me.

"Get up, let me show you the garden," she lazily followed me.

"What are we making for dinner?" she asked me then I showed her my edible produce in the garden, she chuckled.

"We can get fresh vegetables here, there's all kinds of meat in the fridge too so we can decide when we're back in the house, how's that?" I told her.

"Wow Ron, who takes care of this garden? I know it's not you."

"Of course it's me," I said with a pout.

"I believe you," she rolled her eyes, and I pinched her cheeks.

Clay asked a lot of questions, and I wasn't complaining because she really was making effort in getting to know me, I liked that about her. We talked about allergies, Mimi's school, how I started my business, how the mafia affected my life and a lot more while in the garden.

She was now admiring fresh flowers one by one; I picked out a red tulip and walked towards her hugging her from behind, I placed it in her small hand making her blush, I brushed my lips on her neck.

"So clingy, aren't we?" she muttered with a beautiful smile.

"With you of course, who else would you want me to cling to?" I kissed her neck again, then her shoulder, one of my hands cupping her boobs. Suddenly someone cleared their throat behind us, causing us to turn.

"Sir, Mimi will be brought home around six o' clock," my guard said, I thanked him, and he left.

I turned my attention back to Clay; we sat on the grass then laid down facing the sky. We stayed like that in comfortable silence with our fingers interlocked. After a little while I sat up bringing my face over hers, studying her beautiful features, she looked so peaceful with her eyes closed.
