What happened before..

Duncan's POV

I raced down the street, Oh god I'm late and  the shops are gunna shut soon. i had found out through Lewis that it was Kim's birthday on Wednesday, which gave me only two days to find the perfect gift. I ran into the shop and began my search.

I went through shelves and shelves of things in attempt to find the perfect gift; I was just about to give up when a purple glint caught my eye, and there it was, there thhe  perfect gift.

Kim's POV 

I ran after Duncan, where was he going? He was surprisingly fast, i was about to give up and go home, when he dashed into a nearby a store. I gazed up at the sign "Four winds", "that's a strange name," i said to myself. I admired the strange assort of things in the window, there were: bracelets, colourful stones, bouncy balls and other small things. I put my hand on the door to go in, when i realised, Duncan will know i was following him if i go in. I'll come back tomorrow and have a nosey around, i decided and headed home.

Also fun fact, I took Ember to a store called Four winds which is near my school.
