What happened before..

Chapter 2 Duncan and Kim...

Hi everyone! this name of the chapter is rubbish, I know. But you may be surprised to find that it is not love at first sight.....

"Drive faster mum come on" Kim almost shouted! She was so exited and she was in her new school uniform for the first time. She could hardly wait! "Oh look there's Lomadia, Hannah's mum." kim looked confused. " You know Hannah don't you?" ,Kim's mum asked, "She's our next door neighbour" "is she?" came a voice.                                                                                                                                                                   "Yes she is Joakim" Kim's mum said. "Hey Rythian" Kim said. "Are you exited about starting reception.                                                                                                                                                                                       "Yeah, of course I am Nano" Rythian stuck his tongue out at her. Kim stuck her tongue out of him back, then Rythian kicked kim. "Mum, Rythian kicked me."

"But she stuck her tongue out at me"

"He did first."

"Please stop arguing. Joakim stop kicking Kim immediately. Kim stop annoying your brother. You are both in reception now so you should no better than to argue who is most exited."                                     "Ok mummy" Rythian and Kim said to each other. They got out of the car and took their mum by the hand and walked to the reception classroom. "There now, have a good day. I am of to speak to Lomadia."  Rythian, who already knew some people ran of to play while Kim stood there nervously and looked around. She could see a boy (wearing what looked like a white lab coat!)  playing with Lego bricks in the corner. He had quite scruffy hair and wore glasses on top of his head. she went over to him and said "Can I play?" The boy looked up at her and said "NO" I will "NOT play with you. You look to little to be playing Lego" The boy looked up and felt a bit guilty. It was hard being nice when your dad was an evil scientist. That girl is quite pretty, he thought and was about to say sorry when he thought: I want to be an evil scientist right? Evil scientists don't say sorry. When he looked up the girl was on the other side of the room.

 Kim was hurt by the words and bent her head trying not to cry. She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around. There stood a girl with short blonde hair wearing an owls t-shirt and she was holding a stuffed animal. It was an owl. "I'm Hannah," she said. "Let's be friends!" Kim smiled. She was already starting to like her. "Yes, we can be friends" she said. She looked at the boy and decided that she hated him. "That's Duncan," Hannah whispered. Duncan, stupid name. Thought Kim. She went of to play with Hannah.

"Right class." The teacher said, "I am Miss Silverstone. Welcome to reception"
