Sunset's Farewell

SUNSET’S FAREWELL

I watch the sunset, across the sea
Its golden hues painting eternity.
The warm breeze caresses my skin,
As if whispering secrets of where dreams begin.

Lovely, indeed
This fleeting display.
A canvas of colors, a symphony at bay.
But as the sun dips, its final descent.
I feel time’s pulse, a bittersweet lament.

My wish, a silent plea, hangs in the air,,
Yet unheard, it dissolves, a fragile affair.
The sky turns dark, stars ignite their flame.
And I stand here, a witness to life’s game.

Time, like the tides, comes and goes
Moments slip through fingers, a river that knows.
Acceptance settles a quiet surrender,
For reality dances, both tough and tender.

So I embrace the fading light, the night’s embrace.
Knowing that ending birth beginnings in grace.
And as the last ray kisses the horizon’s rim,
I find solace in time’s rhythm
