TIDES OF LOVE

The ocean, vast and wide.
Mirrors the sun’s light, a celestial dance.
Its waves whisper secrets, ancient and true.
As I stand on its shore, lost in thoughts of you.

The mountain, a sentinel, reaches for the sky.
Its peak kissed by sunlight, a beacon up high.
A canvas of wonder, a sight to behold.
Yet your eyes outshine the gold.

I can’t help but admire the ocean’s hue.
A reflection of your gaze, so deep and true.
As I sink deeper, falling into love’s embrace.
The tides pull me under, a sweet, relentless chase.

I drown in your eyes, their depths unknown
A ship lost at sea, a heart overthrown.
And yes, it hurts the ache of unclaimed desire,
For you were never mine, yet set my soul on fire.

But here, by the water’s edge,
I find solace, In the flow of love’s relentless grace.
The ocean, the mountain, they witness my plight
As I surrender to feelings that burn through the night.

So let the waves carry me, let the tides decide,
For in this vast universe, love knows no pride.
And though you were never mine from the start,
I’ll keep drowning in the ocean of your heart.
