Yuri looked at the camera on Yuya's computer with a look of slight disinterest on his face as Yuya loaded up the new game. But if he was going to be honest, he was kinda looking forward to playing a relaxing life simulation game that didn't have any stakes, even if it was mainly marketed toward teen and young adult females. The idea of taking care of a little Folk on a computer and making their life as fun as possible actually appealed to the Fusion cabbage.

The four boys had spent fifteen minutes trying to settle on a channel name. They'd finally agreed on Yuu-Salad, a suggestion that Yuri had made based on the fruits and vegetables that their hair resembled. They had also spent about twenty minutes trying to come up with a decent intro, most of which was Yuya and Yugo giggling in amusement at all the mess-ups. Yuto seemed a bit amused as well, commenting on how they were going to have to edit the video before uploading it.

"Okay, so are we going to make all four of us, or a combination of us?" Yuto asked once the intro had been done properly. Yuya thought for a moment, "Well I mean, it'll probably be easier for us to play together if we only have one Folk."

"True," Yugo agreed. Yuri smirked and asked, "So are we gonna make Zarc? I mean, he's literally all four of us combined."

"Well, that kinda would make sense," Yuto agreed, albeit a little reluctantly. Yuya and Yugo nodded in agreement, and Yugo said, "Alright, Zarc it is!"

Yuya clicked the New Game icon, and the boys were greeted with a menu. Yuri read it out loud. "Choose Your Game Mode. Free Mode (A simple life simulator where cheats are allowed and the world's natural evolution is limited). Challenge Mode (Choose from a selection of Challenges created by the Community, or create your own, and have your Folks live life according to the rules. No cheats except for those permitted by the Challenge you choose. World may evolve over time depending on the Challenge selected). Timeline Mode (A more advanced mode where you pick a time period or periods to live in, with the Folk lifespans adapting to the times, and the world evolving as time passes. Limited cheats). Story Mode (Choose from a selection of pre-made storylines to play. No cheats allowed). Online Mode (Play online with other people. No cheats allowed. Chat filter may be enabled). New Modes to be added in the future."

"Wow, that's so cool!" Yugo said excitedly. "What mode should we play?"

"Let's go with Free Mode, just to get used to the game mechanics and the controls," Yuto suggested. "We can always start a new game in one of the other modes later once we're more experienced."

Everyone else hummed in agreement, so Yuya selected Free Mode. After a few moments of loading screen, the Character Creation popped up showing a randomly generated Folk. Yugo grinned. "Hey look! It's Reiji!"

Yuya laughed, "It is! It's totally Reiji!" The Folk on the screen really did resemble Reiji quite a bit. It was even wearing similar clothes to the ones he normally wore. "All he needs now is the earrings and the glasses!"

Yuri snickered, leaning toward the screen for a better look. "So, should we randomize the Folk until we get something close to us, then edit him properly? Or just go for it?"

"Let's randomize for a bit," Yugo suggested. "That way we don't have to do all the work ourselves."

Yuya hit the randomize button a few times until the Folk on the screen had the same skin tone, jawline, forehead, and cheeks as the counterparts. "Perfect! So, we're going with full Zarc then? Yellow eyes, silver-and-green hair, the works?"

"Yep!" his counterparts all said in unison. Yuya grinned, and the boys began customizing their Folk. Yuto said, "We should start with the hair."

His counterparts hummed in agreement, and Yuri replied, "Yes, the hair is obviously the most important feature. It distinguishes us all from each other visually."
