Wolf Moon ----

(scotts POV.)

It was after school i was with stiles like always. "I dont know what it was, its like i had all the time in the world to catch the ball." Today in lacossre i was pretty good i dont know where i got this talent from, i felt sorta powerful. "And thats not the only weird thing. I can hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear, smell things."

"Smell things? Like what?" Stiles questioned, i could smell a minty scent i took a guessed and figured it was gum. "Like the mint mojito gum in your pocket."

He looked at me like i was unhinged. "I dont even have any mint mojito.." He checked his pockets and pulled out a half unwrapped mint mojito gum from it. And im not supposed to be able to smell that." I shrugged my shoulders in a "see what i mean?" way, i turned around as he followed me.

"So it all started with a bite?" Stiles asked. "What if its like an infection, like my bodys flooding with adrenaline before i go into shock or something."

"You know what? I actually think ive heard of this. It's a specific kind of infection." An infection.. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah." He responded within less than a second. "Yeah i think its called lycanthropy." I had no idea what he was talking about. "Whats that? Is that bad?" It had to be bad. "Oh yeah, its the worst. But only once a month."

"Once a month?"

"On the night of the full moon." —— "A-woooooooooo!" He mimiced a howling noise, I pushed him slighty. "Hey man" He started to laugh a bit as he put his hands out. "Hey, your the one who heard a wolf howling."

Oh well he thinks its a joke still. "Hey, there could be something seriously wrong with me." Can't believe he doesn't even care. "I know! Your a werewolf!" I dont want to be a werewolf. He then made a growling noise. "Okay obviously im kidding. But if you see me in shops class trying to melt all the sliver that i can find, its cause firday's a full moon." We made it to the spot where i saw the dead body, and boy does this kid talk alot but hes smart.

The body wasn't there. "No, i could have sworn this was it I saw the body, the deer came running I dropped my inhaler" Where did it go... i bent down and touched the leafs." There was nothing. "Maybe the killer moved the body." I looked up at stiles. "If he did i hope he left my inhaler. Those things are like 80 bucks."

No seriously and beause i need it. Stiles tapped my on my shoulder a little rough. I looked behind me to see a guy standing there, as i stood up he started walking towards us. The man had black hair and hazel eyes, he looked very much older than us. "What are you doing here." He spoke.

Neither of us responded to him. "Huh?" He questioned again. "This is private property." Oh man. "Uh, sorry we didn't know."

"Yeah, we were just looking for something but.." I didn't finish my sentence as the man raised his eyebrows at me. "Uh forget it." He then threw something at me as i caught it quickly, it was my inhaler. The man then walked away. "Alright, come on, man i gotta get to work."

I barely took a step as stile stopped me. "Dude. That was derek hale. You remeber right? He's only like a few years older than us."

"Remember what?"

"His family. They all burned to death in a fire like 10 years ago. Your." He paused for a moment. "Your sister used to talk about all the time." Ah my sister..my sister Darcie. "I wonder what he's doing back." He left a while ago.

Stiles scoffed. "Come on." We started to walk our way out the woods. "Hey stiles." I turned around to him. "Uh yeah?"

I didn't know how he would feel after telling him some news. "Ya know. My sister is coming back and shes moving in with me and my mom. You of course rember her, my sister Darcie."

I may have left him speechless.. "Oh woah. Dude thats amzing right? I mean don't you love her thats cool. So is she like coming to our school then?"

"Pretty much..but listen shes off limits alright."

"I wasn't even thinking about! Plus i got lydia." He was tottally thinking about it. "Well lydia doesn't have you.." Yikes. "Oh come one man,so?" I started to walk again ingoring him.

It was thundering and i was at work, i went to go check on my wound that i had from being bitten. I removed the bandage but the teeth marks were gone. I ingored it instead, i had to feed the cats so of course i went ot go get their food and bring it to them.

As i dragged the bag into the cat room. "Hey, kitties." Before i could reach the end of the room all the cats started hissing, moewing, and screaching, they begin to start hitting their cages like i was a monster who was about to hurt them. I walked out the room.

The cats stopped, then i heard a knock on the door. I went to the front door and i see allison standing there.

"I didn't see it, i took my eyes off the road for like 2 seconds to charge my ipod then this dog it just came out of nowhere." She sobbed. "Its alright its alright, do you remember where it happened so i can send animal control to find it?"

"No.I mean yes, i know where i hit it but the dog is." She pointed behind her with her thumb. "Where is it?"

"Its in my car." Oh wow, i followed her to her car as she popped open the trunk. The dog quikcly barked and growled, Allison got scared as she backed up into me. "You okay?"

She nodded, "Shes just frighten." I was holding her. "That makes two of us." I thought for a second. "Let me see if i have any better luck." The dog started to back at me as i got closer.

I have no idea what i was doing but i slowly turned down my head staring at the dog. It felt like i was doing a spell with my eyes or whatever. The dog then was fine, i reached out to get her.

I brought the dog inside and into a room. "I think her leg is broken, ive seen the doctor doo pleanty of splints. I can do it myself and then give her a painkiller for now." I looked at allison who was just nodding she seemed cold obvisouly. "I have a shirt in my bag."

"Oh i dont want to trouble you." She insisted. But i already was going to get it. "Here." She took it anyway, she went to go change.

I looked out the door and could see her turn around the dog started whimpering. "What. I didn't see anything." I finished up taking care of the dog as allison came back into the room. "Thanks for doing this, i feel really stupid."

"How come." I smiled. "I don't know i freaked out like a total girl."

"You are a girl." I tilted my head at her. "I freaked out like a girly girl, and im not a girly girl."

"What kind of girl are you?"

"Thougher than that." She smirked. "At least i thought i was."

"Hey, i'd be freaked out too. Infact i'd probably cry and not like a man either like the biggest girly girl ever." She laughed at my words. "It'd be pathetic." She shurnched her nose. "Yeah right." I sighed. "So, it looks like shes gonna live. And im pretty sure she'll even let you pet her now if you want." She turned over to me. "I dont think so."

"Oh come on. You don't want her to sue. I heard this breed is very litigious." She then went in to pet the dog. "You see? She likes you." Me too.

I kept staring at her. "What?" I shook my head. "I dont know. Sorry. You have an eyelash on your cheek." She really did. "Oh, its from the crying." She wiped her face, but she missed it. I pushed the hair out her face slighty as i got the eyelash off with my finger. "Thanks." She gleamed.

"Yeah." I whispered.

The dog was all well so we heaed out. I walked her to her car. "So, um i was wondering. I mean.. Is it really family night on friday, or do you think maybe you'd go to that party with me?"

She put her hair behind her ear. "Family night was a total lie." Thats a relief. "So is that a yes, you'll go?"

"Definitely yes."
