Chapter 2 Part 1 - Did you get the News?

Zene's Ice-Cream Parlor - August 1, 2023 - 15:54

It's no longer the bright, pleasing sunny day that it was many hours ago. It's windy outside, the leaves in the trees blow aggressively, trying to withstand the strong weather. For most, this would be a downgrade... but to me, seeing all the previously separated clouds gather together, it gives me a feeling I never thought I'd have. You think so too, huh?

The doors burst open as Zene, Sadama, Yumi and technically Sade enter. Sadama rushes back to the corner couch, with her hair being a mess. Zene sits in the same corner, poking fun at Sadama. Yumi doesn't get to react as she is immediately approached by Zena, who is... crying? 

"..Yumi! How long has it been since I've seen you? Just seeing you honestly makes me feel older. I can't believe that you've already made it to High-school! Gah! I just wish I could hug you-" Zena blurts out, seeming to never get through one point without jumping to the next.

Zena suddenly comes to a stop when she notices Sade, who is...well.. 'asleep'. Zena looks back at Yumi and then back at Sade. 

"Oh? Who's this?" Zena asks, in a considerate tone.

Yumi is not given the choice to give an answer, Sadama calls Zena over and whispers in her ear.

"I swear... I barely even know Sade, don't listen to her." Yumi states, knowing what Sadama whispered, her face showing signs of embarrassment.

Zena goes back up to Yumi, and gives Yumi a thumbs up, before sitting at the entrance. This leaves Yumi not only confused, but also a little frightened. She has no idea how to react to it, so she sits down thinking about it, at a seat next to a big window. At this point in time, Yumi has completely forgotten that she still has Sade in her arms. Yumi focuses too much on the gesture and looks outside, she's slowly drifting... into her self desired slumber ...slowly, but surely.

The door OPENS once again!...but it seems more calm. Zene gets up, he's gained instincts to be wide awake whenever the door opens. Zena waves to the person, they wave back. Sadama does know who this is. Long dark brown hair, not properly dressed for the occasion, serious look on their face. All of these points led her to her college buddy, Hope. 

"Hope? You live here?" Sadama asks, keeping her voice down for...obvious reasons.

Hope looks around confused, she came here for a reason. She's unable to remember it though.

"Sadama.. it's not that difficult.. just say hi.." Zene mutters.

"I don't live here... I have just arrived here by train." Hope states, very nervously.

Zena holds onto Hope's shoulder, taking her into a long, boring, nonsensical conversation. This conversation holds so little relevance that Sadama joins it, making it even MORE nonsensical. Their conversation clearly isn't important, what is important is the figure outside. It's a green haired figure, close to the window where Yumi and Sade have been resting. For minutes now, flashes that closely resemble one of a camera, continue to flash, over, over and over again. This person also makes noises, extremely aggressive, weird, unpleasant noises. These disastrous number of noises are very irritating, so irritating in fact that it alone, causes Sade to regain her consciousness.

"..hm...h.." Sade slurs, awakening.

Sade moves a little, causing Yumi to also wake up from her calm resting session. Sade's blind fold slowly drops off of her face, falling onto Yumi's lap. The two look at each other, or more rather, Sade stares at Yumi's unconscious eyes. Yumi loses her pupils, being fully taken over by Sade, who doesn't even know what she did. She decides to make Yumi put her down, turning around and closing her eyes. Yumi gains back control of her body, unaware of Sade did.

The Green-Haired stalker, continues to keep watch by the window, hiding between bushes. This is to enhance stealth, keeping the identity and the presence of the person unknown.

The strategy is very professional and isn't known by many, its worths include...

The stalker fell asleep.

Yumi looks over to the three women discussing in the corner, looking uninterested. This was until Zena had uttered something that made Yumi's heartbeat stop.

"To be honest... I invited Hope here, mostly to announce that... I got a job at Yumi's High-school..!" Zena exclaims.
