Third person's pov
Jungkook was woken by a sharp gasp, echoing through his chambers. He blinked into the dim light, his breath steadying as he recognized the familiar confines of his room. He had sweat on his forehead.
Early morning light filtered through the ornate window, casting intricate patterns on the polished floor. He sighed deeply and sat up, pushing the heavy blankets aside.
"The same nightmare," he muttered to himself, rubbing his temples. He was greeted by a soft knock at his door. The maids, he thought, always punctual.
Jungkook pulled on his face veil, securing it tightly before moving to sit on the plush, velvet sofa. "Come in," he called, his voice cold.
The doors to his chambers swung open, and the maids entered, carrying his hanbok and shoes for the day. They bowed deeply, their heads nearly touching the floor. "Good morning, Luna," they chorused.
Jungkook gave a curt nod, not bothering to return the greeting. He stood still, arms outstretched, as the maids dressed him in the elaborate hanfu, layer by layer.
Then, they brought forth his head veil. It was a grand piece, heavy and adorned with intricate beadwork, so cumbersome it required three maids to place it on his head.
