"Genesis, you better stay back. We don't know what could happen," Tony warned the girl as she nodded.
How could she argue when she was new to the whole hero thing. Her body was hugged by a custom suit, which resembled everyday wear.
A black leather dress with a sage leather jacket. Genesis wore knee-high socks and shoes meant to endure running for long distances. All the fabrics she wore were bulletproof and fire-resistant. Thanks to Tony's tinkering as well as money.
The man would do anything for her no matter the cost. Thankfully, he had the money to spend. Otherwise, his ways of thinking would get any blue-collar worker into serious debt.
"Shit, they spotted us," Tony yelled as he flew back towards the team in order to regroup
"Language," Steve shouted back, the team bursting into various giggles and fits of laughter
"Ok, grandpa," Tony sarcastically responded, a shit eatting grin making its way to his face
"Sorry, it just slipped out," Steve looked down, embarrassed as they ran towards the battle ahead
He threw his shield, hitting a few soldiers while Natasha rode her motorcycle. The rest of the team was either in the tank behind or using their suit to get ahead. As they ran, they all split up Genesis teaming up with Clint, someone she deemed to be a parental figure in her life.
When she first arrived at the tower, he was the one who welcomed her with open arms and took care of her. He was the one who taught her what she knew. She admired him. Genesis would do anything for Clint.
With each word that flew over communications, the girl felt this familiar ringing in her head and an odd emotion she couldn't place her finger on. Suddenly, a blue whirl sped by, and Clint was down and wounded.
"Clint," the girl cried as she ran over to him
"I'm okay," he muttered to her as he looked over at the boy who brought him down with such ease
"Didn't see that coming?" A boy with a thick accent spoke one that Genesis swore she had heard before. The sense of Deja vu was overwhelming, and she pushed it down to cope with at a later time. She had her dad to worry about.
Clint groaned, laying his head back on the ground and letting the team know there were supers on the field. The blue streak fled as quickly as he appeared, and Genesis brought Clint back to the Quinjet.

The team headed back, Tony holding the scepter in his hand, the mission had been a success. Not in the eyes of Genesis. Clint had been injured, and it terrified her what would happen to him. They wouldn't let her in as he was being operated on so as not to freak her out more than she had been.
Which, in turn, scared her more than if she had seen him in critical surgery.
"I'm good kiddo look all fixed," Clint's hoarse voice called out as Genesis was finally let into his room.
"They say I'm part plastic now," he joked, causing the girl to smile as she sat next to him, holding his hand grateful for the amazing doctors and staff Tony had provided for the team.
It was times like this that reminded Genesis why she chose to stay with Tony, especially after finding out he did not send his bombs over it was a huge relief to her.
The first few months were rough, but years went by, and she had adjusted well to the draining schedule of training. Not that she minded as training made her feel stronger and safer than her former self.
It allowed her to grow, and she felt unstoppable.
"You okay, kiddo?" Clint asked as he watched the girl disassociate into her head right in front of him.
"Yeah, just thinking about how lucky we are to have this incredible staff," she replied, still in a bit of a daze.
"I'm honored, Miss. Genesis" Dr. Helen Cho spoke up before bowing her head politely as a sign of her gratitude.
"Please, Genesis is fine, Dr. Cho, "the girl spoke up, and the doctor smiled to herself with a grin.
