Rey woke up on a brisk, New Leaf morning. She looked at her brother, who was still sound asleep. She decided to go catch some breakfast for the both of them. She wandered off to Riverclan territory, to catch some fish. She found a shallow part of the river and caught plenty of fish. When she turned around, she immediately dropped it all. A black cat with orange eyes glared down at her. "What do you think you're doing?" He hissed. Rey didn't respond, but tried to slink back. "I'll say it again. What are you doing in Riverclan territory?" He growled. "Blackclaw. What is going on here?" A voice behind him demanded. The voice came from a spotted golden she-cat. "Leopordfur! I was just getting rid of a pest." He answered. Leopardfur looked Rey up and down. "Leave her be. By the looks of it, she's only a kit." She meowed. "She's an intruder!" Blackclaw exclaimed. "She's a child" She replied. "I hope you won't be an issue anymore, loner. Run off now." She demanded. Rey quickly picked up the fish and bounded back to her cave near Sunningrocks. When she got back, her brother, Ollie, was already awake. "There you are! I was about to go looking for you! I thought you had gotten caught this time!" Her brother mewed. "Well about that.." Rey replied. "Don't tell me.. Rey! You said you would be more careful!" She looked down guiltily. "Sorry.." she mumbled. "But I didn't get captured or anything! They just, let me off with a warning!" She explained. "Next time, they might not be so merciful." Ollie meowed. "There won't be a next time!" She retorted. "Promise?" He asked. "Promise."
