The door opens and a familiar voice and the sound of ice swishing calls out. "The favorite is here!!" All their heads turn.
Felix gets up followed by Jisung. "Berry!!" Felix calls out and crouches to pet the adorable dog. "Ahem. I have your boba." Seungmin says, gesturing to their drink orders.
"Thanks, min!" Felix says, taking his drink and stabbing his straw. They all gather on the floor of Felix's room again but this time with the jingling of berry's collar as she scratches behind her ear.
"Okay! Let's give this another shot." Jisung says. He opens Felix's computer, putting in the date of Changbins birthday. He has a problem.
Well.....it's not like Jisung is any better. His phone passcode is the date he and Minho went to the beach and skipped school when he was still a Freshman and Minho a senior.
Seungmin looks up from his phone. "What are you guys doing anyways?" He asks. "Looking for a place to live for college." Jisung says, eyes still glued to the screen, sifting through place after place. "Oh, why didn't you just say so? Chan and I would be happy to lend you guys rooms!"
Felix and Jisung both stiffen. Chan's parents are rich rich. They own a popular ramen brand in South korea and added onto that, Chan makes bank as a music producer. Seungmin has been rooming with him ever since he graduated high-school early. The reason Jisung almost choked on his spit is because he's also close friends with Minho and let him room too.
Jisung can only imagine Felix is red in the face for the same reason. Chan owns a large house near the campus with enough rooms for eight people. One of the eight is Changbin, Felix's longtime crush. The other is Minho, Jisung's longtime crush.
Jisung and Felix catch each other's eyes at the same time. They have a habit of that. "Uhhhhhhh..." Jisung says, his brain short circuiting. Felix just sighs.
"I mean, that's honestly the best option we have. Sure, why not." Felix finally responds. "Great! I'll let Minho and Changbin know to expect you guys in....."
"Four days. We'll be there in four days." Jisung says far too quickly to not be suspicious. They weren't planning on leaving until next Sunday but Jisung is eager to see Minho. Felix must be eager as well since he didn't argue when Seungmin let them know he'd text his group chat later.
.......
Everyone else is asleep. Hyunjin sleeping happily knowing Jeongin is passed out on his shoulder and Seungmin curled up in the armchair with the day6 blanket he brought draped over him.
Felix and Jisung are sitting facing each other on Felix's bed. Both of them are giggling like little shits. "I bet Changbin's been going to the gym." Felix says, eyes looking upward in a dreamy state. "Should I wear my necklace in front of him or is that weird? I mean it's been three years since he gave it to me, would he think it's creepy that I held onto it for so long?" Jisung asks. "Nah, it's endearing!" Felix assures him.
Three years ago, Minho gave him a necklace with a seashell that Jisung found. It had a perfectly placed hole to put string through. Jisung still remembers perfectly the way Minho's hands gently clipped the string behind Jisung's neck. The warmth of his hand brushing the skin above his shoulder when he pulled away.
Jisung remembers a lot about Minho. He remembers his doe shaped eyes, big and brown with a sparkle highlight from whatever light source was in the room. The way his hair sat perfectly between his eyelid and brow and brushed his cheeks when he let it grow long. He remembers Minho's sense of humor and how he would playfully threaten Jace, and Jisung wouldn't be able to stop a smile from spreading across his face. He remembers how when he would eat, food would be left on his lips, and Minho would stare at his mouth until Jisung finally licked it away. It's like he did everything he could to pull Jisung in with false feelings just so Jisung could suffer in silence knowing that he fell for someone he couldn't have.
Everytime he thought he had gotten over him, Minho would show up for Holidays as Jace's plus one (No homo) and the feeling of longing hit him like a tidal wave just like it did when he first met him.
Two of Jisung's cousins, Ryujin and Lia, would tease him about it every Christmas when Minho would show up at their rented beach house for dinner.
Jisung likes Minho~~~

Jisung laughed with them but made them shut up when Minho sat down to join them. It's not like they had anything to laugh about when Ryujin was on the verge of being disowned by her father for having a girlfriend. Ryujin never told Yeji about it, she didn't want to hurt her feelings.
After every Holiday when he would see Minho, he'd text Hyunjin afterwards and they'd joke about how once Jisung was eighteen, he'd be unstoppable.
And now here he is, eighteen and giggling like a schoolgirl over a 21 year old man with his best friend.
Eighteen, and definitely stoppable.
