It was dinner time when we got back to work. While Lightning worked, I went to get our supper.

"What'll it be today?" Flo asked with a smile.

I looked at the menu. "Chicken fried steak for me with the mashed potatoes, white gravy on both. Can the Mac and cheese be put in a separate container?"

Flo nodded. "And for the other one?"

"What do ya have for health foods?"

"We've got chicken and a few different vegetables. If you're looking for the organic stuff, you'll wanna check with Fillmore. He does the hippy drippy stuff."

"Can I get that chicken grilled?"

"No problem. Two sides?"

"Uh... corn and steamed broccoli."

"Lovely. I'll have it done in a few minutes if you want to try Fillmore's while you wait."

"Thanks Flo." I waved as I walked out the door. I crossed to a tie dye tent. "Filmore?"

"Hey," Filmore said, appearing from the tent. His voice was drawn out and slow. "The short one has come to see me."

"Please just call me J."

"Alright, JJ. How can I help you, my man?"

"Close enough." I said. "I heard you do organic food?"

"Heck yeah man." He held the tent open. "Come into my oasis of health, man."

Reluctantly, I stepped into the tent. Instantly I was hit with a terrible smell. "Oh, what is that?" I gagged.

Filmore laughed. "Nature's cure, man."

"I'm just looking for a salad or protein shake or something." I said, trying not to barf from the overwhelming smell of weed.

"Hey I make those!" Filmore said with a smile.

"Jesus Christ..." I muttered under my breath, wondering just how much devils lettuce Filmore had been using. "Let's try a shake?"

"Smoothies are a good choice, man." Filmore disappeared into another part of the tent and returned after a few minutes of the jarring noise of a blender. "Here you go, man."

"Uh... thanks?" I took it. "How much do I owe you?"

"Nothin, man."

"That's not a good way to run a business."

"Business?" Filmore shook his head. "Nah, man. I sell organic fuel for cars. The fuel from my garden is as free as love, man."

"Oh, thank you, Filmore." I smiled awkwardly. "I have to get going now."

"May love go with ya, man." Filmore returned to his round chair and puffed on a glass contraption.

I quickly left the tent, finally able to breath in fresh air. "Someone never left the 60s..." I started towards the car with the shake in hand.

"Turn right to go left. Guess what. I tried it. You know what? This crazy thing happened..." Lighting looked at me. "I went right!"

"I was there," I said. "Got ya some health food."

"You smell like dog sh-"

"Weed. Filmore is a smoker."

"I'd smoke too if I had to be here for my whole life." Lightning said, taking the fruit smoothie. "What's in it?"

"Good question," I said. "It was 'as free as love, man' though so I don't care if you drink it. Our food should be done by now too."

"What did you get me this time?"
