The next morning they woke up and went to the police station. As they walked a couple of rippers came after them, they of course, either ran, and lost it, or hit it in the head, and killed it.

When they arrived at the police station the boys had decided to let Alex take a shower first before them. That way no one was left alone or split up.

When Alex came out the boys were laughing and talking amongst themselves.

"It's ya'll's turn, I hope I didn't take too long." Alex said rummaging through her duffle bag full of her clothes and extra shoes.

"You were only in there for 10 minutes, you sure you were in there long enough?" Rick said in a serious tone.

"What?" Alex said questioning, her anxiety started to come up and sneak on her. Was he being serious or making a joke, was I in there too long?

"Nah I'm just kidding, there's plenty of hot water for all of us." He said reassuring Alex.

She felt a bit better but still didn't know how long that pilot light will stay on for, and she doesn't wanna risk leaving them without a hot shower. She would feel pretty bad about it.

"Thank you Rick, for the hot shower's." Alex said going to the locker room to change.

"Yeah, your welcome!" Rick said getting up to go take a shower. Morgan and Duane joined him since there were shower stalls.

After everyone was done showering and changing, they made their way back outside to a cop car, and Morgans car.

When they got outside Morgan ordered Duane to taka a bag to their car.

"You sure you don't wanna come along?" Rick asked Morgan.

"Few more days, that'll give Duane time to learn to shoot, and I won't be so rusty." Morgan explained.

Rick turned and opened the cop car's passenger side door and took out a walkie.

"I'll turn mine on everyday at dawn, just for a few minutes to update you. Tell you where we are or where we're going." Rick said handing Morgan the walkie.

Morgan nodded his head ok. "You think ahead." Morgan said as he began to walk to his car.

"Cant afford not to, not now anyways." Rick replied.

"Hey, One more thing, one by one, they might not seem much, but all together in a group, riled up and hungry? Watch yourself, man." Morgan said.

"Yeah, you to!" Alex and Rick said at the same time, and then looked at each other and then back at Morgan.

When they tried to say their goodbye's a rattling started by the fence. It was one of the cops that got turned.

"Leon Basset. Careless and dumb, didn't think much of him. Can't leave him like this though." Rick said looking at the cop on the other side of the fence, growling and clawing.

"They'll hear the shots." Morgan said

"Let's not be around when they do." Rick said walking towards the fence.

Before Rick could shoot the walker, Alex had her bow and arrow already loaded. She let the arrow go, and it hit the walker directly in the head, making the walker go limp and fall to the ground.

"There's other ways of killing a walker without loud noises. Use them." Alex said walking over and grabbing her arrow through the fence.

Rick and Morgan exchanged looks and went their separate ways. Alex got in on the passenger side, and Rick got on the drivers side and started the car.
