Plot: Logan is turned into
a sassy kitty and greets
you with a morning
surprise.

The life of a mutant. If someone were to ask you if you loved or hated it, you wouldn't be able to tell.

You loved the people around you that you had met due to your abilities, but the backlash you faced just for being different would drive any normal person insane.

But you weren't normal, not to society's standards at least.

Your day was over and you had a residency near the school that belonged to only you.

Nobody aside from Professor X was allowed inside, everyone else had to wait outside if they needed you.

A day of teaching and training was finished once more and your weekend stated now. You were so delighted to get home, however you were stopped on your way to your abode.

A small cat, asleep on the pavement in front of you. It was a dark gray, with small streaks of white through its fur and oh boy was it covered in hair.

"Oh poor baby..." , You whispered, picking the cat up gently.

You held it close to your chest, gently caressing it as you were trying not to wake it.

You unlocked your front door, stepping inside and locking the door behind you before turning on the lights.

The warm cozy lighting brightened up the once pitch black room, illuminating your furniture that was practically calling your name.

You walked with the cat over to your couch, setting it down on top of a soft pillow to let it sleep.

Once the cat was out of your arms, you set your belongings down on your kitchen counter, opening your fridge and grabbing a chilled glass of beer before going to sit down on the couch next to the sleeping feline.

You heard the faint sound of sniffing before the cat yawned, extending its paws forward to stretch them as it tilted its head at you.

You stared back at it.

"Hi little fella." You cooed, scratching gently behind its ear in which the cat swung its arm at you.

You pulled your hand back before rolling your eyes.

"Okay. No petting it is." You said, taking a swig out of the bottle.

The cat sat up, reaching its arms out and trying to grip the bottle.

You pulled it away, gently smacking the cat on the top of the head.

"Hey. No."

It hissed at you.

You groaned loudly.

"God just go back to sleep you were more peaceful like that." You scoffed, chugging the rest of the bottle before getting up and putting it in your recycling.

It was now time for you to prep yourself for bed, regardless of how tired you were.

You walked upstairs to your bedroom, changing into just a tanktop and pajama shorts then heading into your bathroom, unaware of the creature trailing behind you.

As you entered the bathroom, you put a headband on; pushing your bangs out of your face as you clipped the remainder of your hair up.

You looked to your side, seeing the cat staring up at you with an intrigued face.

You clicked your tongue before you turned the faucet on.

You let the water warm up slightly before splashing your face with water, grabbing your face wash and putting a quarter sized amount on your palm before rubbing it into your skin.
