Location: Tokyo, Japan. (The Wolverine)
Plot: Logan meets you back
before he gets his adamantium
claws, over forty years later
he sees you. You are the
one thing of his memories
that he couldn't seem to lose.
—
Logan wondered why he agreed to do this again. He saved a man from a bombing, now he's here in Japan to tell this dying man goodbye. That was until he asked for Logan's ability to heal. He knew of his longing wish to die but Logan didn't wish his immortality on anyone, regardless of if they asked for it or not.
Then, the man had died. Now Logan was getting ready for his funeral. He walked next to Yukio, occasionally adjusting his tie.
Yukio bowed politely to a man, whispering for Logan to do the same who only slightly moved his hand.
Yukio pulled him aside as people began to walk up to Ishida's grave.
Logan looked around, spotting a woman across the yard.
Her face, it just looked so familiar to him. He couldn't peel his eyes away.
Until Ishidas granddaughter, Mariko was attempted to be kidnapped by the Yakuza.
Once Logan got her away from them all, he followed Mariko onto a train.
When Logan sat down, he looked over.
Next to Mariko was the woman from the funeral, she was chatting it up with her.
Mariko placed her hand on top of the woman's before Logan called out to her.
"Mariko. Where are you going?"
She glanced back at him.
"My family's home in the south." She answered before turning away; ignoring the rest of Logan's calls.
Logan tilted his head slightly forward, peeking at the woman next to Mariko. She wore black heels with pantyhose. She had on a black pencil skirt, stopping a bit before her knees with a matching blazer.
He sat back in his chair, shutting his eyes for a few seconds to collect himself.
—
Shockingly, that was the last time Logan had seen her.
Once him and Mariko got off the train, the woman was gone.
He was at Marikos house in the south, lying down on a futon away from her.
His brain was still focused on the woman from before. He knew he had seen her long before this, but where?
Once Logan's brain shut off, that's when it came to him.
"Logan huh? That's a nice name." You laughed, placing your hand over his in the bar.
Logan admired you, the corners of his mouth slightly curved up.
"I could say the same. (Y/N)." He replied.
You tilted your head, a smile on your face.
"Charming aren't you?"
Logan shook his head, using his free hand to take a sip of his beer.
"That I am not. You've just got questionable taste in guys."
You chuckled, leaning a bit closer to him.
"Do I?"
Logan leaned close to you.
"Yes. You do."
"If youre questionable, that's alright with me."
Your voice and name echoed through his head.
