The story of mine

How was your day? Did you sleep well? Did you wake up in the middle of the night from the sounds of gunshots and explosions?

I hope not. After all, that's how that day in 2022 began, which seems to have lasted forever.

Igor, male, native of Ukraine, 26 years old, a guy full of strength, energy, and striving to move forward. This is how I would describe myself before the military actions began. It seemed to me that I had found myself. I was happy, I was traveling, enjoying life, and suddenly in one moment it all collapsed, was broken, disappeared.

Whose fault is it? It's a stupid question if people still ask it. The answer is obvious and there is only one - Russia.

This country is the source of war, the source of evil and destruction, the source of all worldly addictions and strife, greed and envy. I can't say anything good about this country, because right now at this very moment they are killing hundreds of people in my country - Ukraine.

Over the course of more than 2 years, my life has changed dramatically, and I would say my mentality and attitude towards life as such has changed. It became dull, priorities changed, values ​​became different and I as a person succumbed to corrections.

First of all, it is worth noting that before all this, I was not interested in the news either in my country or in the World. Probably because I was focused on my goals and my life. It seemed to me that it did not concern me. But because of this war and all the situations that are happening now in Ukraine and in the World as such, I realized that I had to be aware of everything. And now I can proudly say that maintaining a conversation with a person from any country about politics is not a problem for me.

We live in a world where life has become difficult and dangerous. We must think about how to ensure safety for our families and friends, and for ourselves of course.

For this reason, the time I live in now, I want to spend it effectively. In terms of physical development, mental, financial and emotional. Yes, there is a war in Ukraine, but this does not mean that a person should panic and stop developing.

It took me many months to pull myself together after the start of Russia's war crimes against my country Ukraine, and to start learning new information, to start taking steps towards a better version of myself. For example, I rediscovered Artificial Intelligence.

First of all, I started reading and watching a lot about everything related to Artificial Intelligence. I learned what Midjourney, Ssemble, Etsy are. I started working. I started creating new designs and turning ideas in my head into reality thanks to these and other sites. After all, I am Ukrainian, and we can achieve anything we want. This has already been proven many times in this war.

It's important to me that my work is appreciated. That's why I spend my energy and effort to create something that people can use. If you have time, I'd love for you to check out my Etsy shop, which features a variety of items (not many, but still) that I've created with AI. As I said, I don't want handouts. I want to actually provide value through my work.

It is also worth noting that during this time, it was important for me to find an industry that would help me take my mind off the war. And that industry was English.

After 2 years of online learning, I decided to become a teacher of this language and help my fellow countrymen improve their English as I did. Now I teach. And you know what? I like it. I see how people make progress, and realizing that part of this result was achieved due to my efforts and presentation of information - we can not but please me.

As a result, I want to say that in this life it is important to take small steps forward every day, not to waste your time, but on the contrary, to strive for the best. And believe me, after some time, you will achieve what you want. As Ukraine will achieve victory in this war against the aggressor, so you will achieve all the benefits and overcome all obstacles.
