After class ended and the clock showed 11 a.m., Haewon, Minji, and Kyujin decided to stay at the cafeteria near their faculty to continue their discussion and work on their final year project. They were facing several pressing deadlines and needed to complete crucial parts of their project.
As they entered the cafeteria, it was quite busy with students eating and chatting. They looked for a table that was somewhat secluded to work in peace without distractions. After finding a suitable spot, they sat down and took out their laptops, papers, and documents.
Minji, with high energy, opened their project documents on her laptop and started the discussion. "Okay, we need to finish the data analysis section before the deadline next week. I've collected some additional data that might be useful. Let's review and analyze it together."
Kyujin, while opening his laptop and preparing notes, said, "Alright, we need to ensure that all the information we include is accurate. I've done some additional research on the market for this section. If there's anything that needs reviewing, let me know."
Haewon, still slightly distracted by his thoughts about the arranged marriage and personal issues, tried to focus. "I'll handle the presentation part and create the slides for our presentation later. If there are any additions or changes, let me know."
Minji lowered her head and checked the provided data. "We need to make sure that all this information aligns with our project objectives. I think we should also add some visuals to clarify this information."
Kyujin nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Visuals will help make our presentation more engaging and easier to understand. I'll prepare the necessary charts and graphs."
As they worked, Haewon periodically glanced at the cafeteria door, as if expecting someone or something. However, he tried to concentrate on their work and contribute as needed. Despite the noisy atmosphere with other students talking and laughing, the three of them managed to stay focused and effectively carry out their tasks.
While working, their discussion expanded to other topics like recent developments at the university and their plans after graduation. Although Haewon still felt burdened by the arranged marriage and family responsibilities, he appreciated this time with his friends who understood and supported him.
After several hours of work, they made significant progress and planned the next steps for their project. Minji and Kyujin praised Haewon's effort in organizing and presenting the results, and they all felt relieved to have made good progress.
Haewon, Minji, and Kyujin decided to have lunch together. They chose a cozy spot in the cafeteria, where they continued chatting and relaxing. After settling into a comfortable booth at the cafeteria, Haewon, Minji, and Kyujin began their lunch, the table filled with a mix of dishes. As they dug into their food, the conversation naturally flowed, covering everything from their recent classes to their weekend plans.
Minji took a bite of her salad and leaned in, her voice laced with curiosity. "So, Haewon, I've been hearing a lot about a junior named Sieun. It seems like she's always around whenever you're around. Is there something going on?"
Haewon looked up from his meal, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, Sieun? Yeah, I've noticed that too. She seems pretty keen, but honestly, I haven't paid much attention to it."
Kyujin, who was sipping his drink, chimed in. "I've seen her trying to get your attention a few times. It's pretty obvious she likes you. Aren't you even a bit curious?"
Haewon shrugged, looking slightly disinterested. "Not really. I've got a lot on my plate right now. With the arranged marriage and all, I'm not in the mood for romance. It's not something I'm looking to deal with."
