"So what do you think?" I asked Ashley, Callie and Sam on our group facetime call as I twirled around to show my outfit.
"You look stunning as always." Sam answered and the others agreed.
"Ugh, I'm just so nervous! I mean what if everything goes wrong?!" I ranted nervously as I walked around in my room.
"Girl, calm down. Milo likes you, you like Milo. Nothing will go wrong, you guys are meant to be together, and marry, and have a bunch of kids, and have another dog,..." Ashley said but got interrupted by Sam.
"Oh shut up, Ash... Cece, don't worry, everything will be fine."
Callie nodded. "Yes, trust us. I mean I can also add Mace to the call and ask for his opinion-"
"Oh, no! Please don't!" I laughed.
The girls laughed along with me, easing my nerves a little. Their support was reassuring, and I knew that they had my back no matter what happened tonight.
Just then, my phone buzzed with a message from Milo, telling me that he was outside.
My heart skipped a beat, and I felt butterflies in my stomach flutter even more. "Okay, he's here." I said to the girls, trying to keep my voice steady. "Wish me luck!"
"Good luck! You've got this!" Sam cheered.
"And remember to just be yourself." Callie added with a supportive smile.
