The night of the premiere was finally here. I was both excited and nervous as I got ready. Milo and I had been looking forward to this night for weeks! It was so fun to shoot the season and I couldn't wait to finally show it to the world.Milo and I arrived at the venue. The scene was overwhelming - bright lights, flashing cameras, and a crowd of fans. We stepped out of the car, and the cheers were deafening. Milo took my hand, giving me a reassuring squeeze as we made our way down the red carpet.
Reporters called out our names, asking us to stop for pictures and interviews.
The energy was electric. We smiled for the cameras, trying to enjoy the moment despite the chaos around us.One reporter managed to catch our attention. "Cecelia, Milo! You two look fantastic! How does it feel to finally be here for the premiere?"
"It feels amazing." I replied. "We've worked so hard on this season, and it's great to finally share it with everyone."
Milo nodded beside me. "Yeah, it's been a journey! We're really proud of what we've created! We hope the fans love it as much as we do!"
As we moved along, more questions came our way. Some were about the show, and others were more personal. "So, are you two here together as a couple?" One reporter asked with a sly grin.
I felt a slight blush rise to my cheeks. Before I could respond, Milo answered smoothly, "We're just here to have a good time and celebrate with our friends and fans."
We continued down the carpet, posing for photos and chatting with other cast members.
"Hey, you two look good!" Montana said to us. "So happy to see you guys."
"Thanks, Mon!" We both replied and chatted with him a bit.
Raegan approached us with a grin. "How's my favorite almost couple doing?"
I chuckled in response. "We're good, Rae. You look beautiful."
The night felt like a whirlwind of lights and sounds, but it was also fun and exciting. We eventually made our way to the theater to watch the first episode with the audience. The laughter and applause were a relief, a sign that our hard work had paid off.
After the first episode was shown, the audience clapped and cheered, filling the theater with excitement. As the lights came up, the show's producer approached me with a smile. "Cecelia, would you like to say a few words?" He asked, gesturing toward the microphone set up near the stage.
I felt a rush of nerves but nodded. As I walked up to the microphone, I glanced around at the sea of faces, including my fellow cast members, the crew, and fans who had supported us.
Taking a deep breath, I smiled and started, "Wow, thank y'all for being here tonight. It's incredible to see so many familiar and new faces. We're all so excited to share this new season of Young Sheldon with you!"
The crowd clapped again, and I continued, feeling more at ease. "This season has been a journey for all of us. We've laughed, we've cried, and we've worked really hard to bring these stories to life. It's been a privilege to be part of this amazing cast and crew, who have become like a second family to me."
I glanced over at Milo and the rest of the cast, feeling a swell of pride. "I want to give a big shoutout to my fellow castmates. You guys are so talented and have made this experience unforgettable. It's been a blast working with all of you, and I can't wait to see where our characters go from here."
Pausing for a moment, I looked at the audience and continued, "But most importantly, I want to thank all of you - the fans. Your support and love mean everything to us. Without you, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. We hope this new season makes you laugh, think, and maybe even cry a little. It's for you that we do this."
