JUNGKOOK POV
"Jungkook stop...stop...STOP" Jimin said which got me out of my reverie
"I-I'm sorry Jimin, I didn't mean to hurt you" I said feeling bad, his wrists started turning red
"Give me your keys" he suddenly said
We got into my car, he was on call with someone
"Joshua-ssi, Can you cancel Mr.Jeon's meeting at 6pm, we are still going over the case..." I looked at him like he grew horns he just gave me curt nod and started driving out of the parking lot, There was comfortable silence but I was too ashamed to speak to him, I saw buildings fading away through the window, after hours of driving we reached near a cliff
"Get down Jungkook.." he said while removing his seatbelt I didn't say anything and followed him
"Come on scream out your frustration, no one will know here, just let it all out" he said encouraging me while seeing over the horizon
He went over and sat on the hood of the car while I was just screaming my frustration
"Come sit here...."He said after I cooled down a bit while tapping beside him
"Are you feeling better now?" he asked in a soothing voice
"Yeah, I really needed that..." I said
No one spoke, we were just seeing the sun set with a comfortable silence
"Look Jimin, I'm just so sorry for how Liona acted towards you and also for hurting you..."
"It's ok Jungkook, there must be a reason for why you did what you did..."
"I just didn't expect her to stoop so low..., we were in a relationship for 4 years I thought she was a good person but..."
~~FLASHBACK~~
I joined a new middle school I Seoul and made new friends and among them Liona was one one of them, things were really great we used to hang out a lot, and eventually became each others second family, Liona started having feelings for me, even though I didn't like her, like that, eventually I fell in love with her, she became my everything at that time and I was really happy, until after 4 years of dating, we were in high school third grade, she said she was attending a party of her university friend. That day I found something which I have been searching for my whole life, the da-(rk past of my family) and I wanted her to be the first one to know so I went to that party....
"Li baby why are you with the child even though you don't love him" Some man said while sitting beside Li
"Jack, you know it's only because of my dad, he wants some information about his family..."she said with a disgusting look on her face
"Does he give it to you good that you always go to him" the Jack guy said while pulling her on his lap
"No baby, he is a noob, I'm only doing this for dad; you know that you, Landon, Yoshi and Ron give me the best" she moaned while he was licking her neck and giving her hickies, that explains her mosquito bites
"Yeah I know tha-" they were about to kiss
"Is this how you treat me Li-" when I interrupted them
"Look Kook-ie I can explain-" she said while fixing her clothes
"Shut up you bitch, you have no right to talk, after all this time wahh I can't believe it, you not only lied to me but also thinking to backstab me...that's it we are done don't ever show your face to me" I said angrily and stormed off that party
~~END OF FLASHBACK~~
"So she never had the right to call you the names, and I'm really sorr-" I tried apologizing Jimin again
"Sorry for what, you never told me those Jungkook, you protected me from her and I'm thankful for that, you are not at fault and thank you for sharing this with me" when he cut me off while placing his hand on my shoulder, which suddenly felt like electricity surged inside me
"Well I feel comfortable with you and I know you won't betray me, will you?" I asked feeling insecure and while staring into his eyes
"Oh no Jungkook-ie, I could never think of doing that to you" he said back while we maintained an eye contact for a solid 3 minutes, slowly we were leaning in, our breathes were mingling, there was just few centimetres until our lips could touch when we heard a distant sound which made us flinch back
"S-So w-wanna head home" Jimin said awkwardly while profusely blushing
"No, I wanna stay like this for a while..." he is so cute, he is trying to avoid my eyes stop it Jungkook
"Okay" he said still blushing
It was almost 12 when I left Jimin back to his shared apartment. I still remember the way he cutely told me bye..."See you tomorrow Jungkook-ie~" damn that cute voice he is gonna be the death of me.. No he doesn't affect me ...at all....
But today really felt great, all the pent up tension was finally relieved, it felt like all the burden was lifted from my shoulders. But I should really be careful. I was about to tell Jimin about my family being in Mafia....It's not that I don't trust him, the problem is I trust him too much, which is not good..What will he think about m-. My thoughts were cut off when I found grandpa in the living room
"Jungkook, finally you are back" the old man said while getting up to hug me
"What is it old man? You have come a long way.." I said while ignoring his hug
"You brat, still calling me like that, I told you we had reasons.." he scolded me
"Reasons? Yea right but me and hyung had the right to know, don't you think!!" I said while raising my voice
"You were children back then" he reasoned
"..."I don't wanna fight with him but he really does test my patience
"Look Kook, we have an emergency..our mafia is in trouble...other mafias are trying to take our throne in the mafia world . Though we have tried to maintain a clean image in business, they are targeting us knowing it's us. I suspect the leaking of confidential information has something to do with some mafia gang" he said with a serious look
"Look here old man, I don't care what you do I don't want people interfere with my business" I said while challenging him
"You have to defend your throne Jungkook, you think I don't know that you go on small missions in the mafia, I'm telling you, lead Titans with your right hand man, deal" he said while coming in for a handshake
"Okay, I'll see what I can do" I said while taking his hand
"But I want you to find a few trust-worthy partners for yourself to lead the kingdom with you and are ready to take a bullet for you, I don't want anything to happen to your family like how it happened to my family. Understood?" he said while bringing me into hug
"Yes, old man" I said promising him more like myself
