Stelle's POV:

Me and Caelus were assigned to the missions today, so we packed all the things that we needed and left early in the morning. As Caelus and I navigate through the dense forest, the air thick with tension, he suddenly breaks the silence. "I miss Dan Heng already," he murmurs, his voice tinged with a hint of longing. I feel a jolt of surprise. "What do you mean?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper. Caelus hesitates for a moment before admitting, " Me and Dan Heng are together now, Stelle."

I pause, trying to process his words. Mixed emotions swirl within me, but beneath it all, I managed a faint smile. "I'm happy for you, Caelus," I reply, with my voice steadying.

On our way back, Dan Heng greets Caelus with a warm hug. Their affection is palpable, silently confirming what Caelus told me earlier. Politely excusing myself, I retreat to my room, needing time to sort through my thoughts.

A soft knock on my door interrupts my thoughts. March 7th stands there, concern etched on her face. "Stelle, are you tired? Come and lean on me like you always do," she asks softly and slightly chuckled. I smiled and said "Thank you March". March replied
"No problem," then she smiled.

She joins me in my room, sitting beside me in silence. We don't need words to communicate. Gradually, the heaviness in my chest eases as March 7th listens patiently.

We reminisce about our childhood adventures, our laughter filling the room. I lean against March 7th, feeling a sense of comfort I haven't felt in a long time. "I miss this," I admit quietly. She nods as she also feels the same, while her hand gently squeezing mine.

As the night wears on, exhaustion weighs heavily on us both. March 7th offers to stay, and without hesitation, I agree. We settle into familiar rhythms, our breaths syncing in the quiet of the room. In this moment, despite everything that's changed, I'm grateful to have a girl like her.
