Stelle’s POV:
Today was going to be perfect. March and I had been planning this for weeks, our first real date! I couldn’t help the excitement bubbling inside me. It wasn’t a typical day hanging out; this felt different, special. As I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my jacket, I smiled at the thought of how March’s eyes always seemed to brighten when she was happy.
A soft knock interrupted my thoughts, and I practically bounced to the door. It was her. I could feel it.
Opening the door, I was greeted with her usual cheerful smile. “Ready for our big day?” she asked with a playful wink, and my heart skipped a beat.
“Of course! I’ve been looking forward to this for ages!” I replied, trying to keep the excitement in check.
As we left, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the start of something new, something...more.
As the day unfolded, everything seemed perfect—until it wasn’t.
We sat down at a café, the usual warmth between us suddenly replaced with an odd, cold tension. March’s gaze flickered away, her expression clouded. Something was wrong. My heart tightened as I watched her, hoping it was just in my head.
“March?” I called softly, reaching for her hand, but she pulled away, her fingers slipping out of mine like sand through an hourglass.
She looked at me, but her eyes were... hollow, as if the light that once shined there was dimmed. “I... I need to tell you something, Stelle.”
My heart dropped.
“I like Caelus.” Her words hit me like a punch to the chest.
I blinked. “Caelus? But...”
My heart was racing, trying to catch up with what she just said. Caelus, my brother? My pulse quickened. How could she—
“I... I thought we were—" I started, but the words got stuck in my throat.
Before I could say anything else, March stood up, and everything around us began to shift. The café dissolved into a dark, swirling fog, and the air grew colder. I could no longer see her clearly, only her silhouette retreating into the shadows.
“Wait!” I cried out, chasing after her, but the fog swallowed her whole figure.
As I ran through the fog, disoriented and desperate to find March, I felt a familiar presence beside me. Caelus appeared, his expression calm but understanding.
“Caelus!” I gasped, my breath coming in ragged bursts. “March—she said...she likes you.”
He shook his head, a soft smile on his lips. “Stelle, I already have someone. She’s just confused. You know how she can be.”
His words were like a lifeline, pulling me out of the storm of emotions swirling inside me. “I have someone already,” he repeated, giving me a knowing look.
Relief washed over me for a moment, but the darkness crept back in. “Then why... why did she say that?” I asked, more to myself than to him.
“I don’t know, but you need to find her,” Caelus said firmly to me, before fading back into the fog.
I kept running, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t reach her. The fog thickened, choking me with every step I took. My legs felt heavy, like I was dragging them through mud. The cold was unbearable now, seeping into my bones, making it impossible to think clearly.
Suddenly, I stumbled upon a large mirror. It stood there, in the middle of the fog, reflecting a figure that wasn’t me.
It was Y/N.
Their eyes were filled with the same confusion, the same pain that I felt. They looked at me through the reflection, their voice trembling as they spoke, “We’re both lost.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, my voice shaking. “Why are you here?”
“Because we’re the same. We’re both looking for the people we care about, and we can’t find them.”
Before I could respond, the mirror shattered, sending shards flying in every direction. I shielded my face, and when I opened my eyes, we were standing together, side by side in the heart of the fog.
“We have to save them,” Y/N said, determination replacing the fear in their voice. “March and Bobby Bear Hug... they’re out there.”
Together, we pressed forward through the endless fog, the darkness clinging to us like a second skin. In the distance, we saw them—March and Bobby Bear Hug—but they were faint, flickering like distant stars.
“They’re here,” I whispered, relief surging through me, but something wasn’t right.
Y/N’s grip on my arm tightened. “It’s not really them.”
They were right. The figures of March and Bobby Bear Hug were mere shadows, twisted reflections of the people we loved. Their faces were blank, their movements slow and mechanical, like puppets being controlled by invisible strings.
“We can’t lose them,” I whispered, more to myself than to Y/N. “There has to be a way to bring them back!”
“There is,” Y/N said, their voice steady. “We have to remind them who they are. Who they love.”
I nodded, taking a deep breath. I stepped closer to March’s shadow, my voice soft but filled with everything I felt. “March, it’s me. Stelle. You’re not lost. Come back to me. Remember all the moments we’ve shared... the times we laughed, the times you made me feel like I was the only one who understood you.”
For a moment, her figure wavered, and I saw a flicker of light in her eyes. But it wasn’t enough. The darkness was still holding onto her.
Y/N stepped forward, calling out to Bobby Bear Hug. “You don’t belong here, you’re supposed to be with me! We promised we’d always find each other, no matter what!”
Their words hung in the air, resonating through the fog, and slowly, the shadows began to break apart, revealing the real March and Bobby Bear Hug beneath.

I reached for March, pulling her into a tight embrace, her warmth returning as she whispered, “I’m sorry, Stelle... I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
I held her closer, the fog dissipating around us, as Y/N did the same with Bobby Bear Hug. We were together again, and this time, we weren’t letting go.
