The cold, grey walls of St. Mary's Orphanage for Boys echoed with the sounds of children. It was a place where dreams often went to die, but for a young boy named Moheeb, it was the only home he had ever known. Moheeb, with his bright eyes and ever-hopeful demeanour, stood out among the sea of forgotten faces. Despite the dreariness that surrounded him, he held onto his dreams with an iron grip.

Every morning, Moheeb woke up to the blaring sound of the orphanage bell, a relentless reminder of the monotonous routine that governed his life. The day began with chores: sweeping the floors, scrubbing the tables, and tending to the small garden that was more of a barren patch of land. These tasks, though tedious, provided Moheeb with a sense of responsibility and purpose.

Sister Agnes, the matron of the orphanage, was astern but fair woman. She had seen countless children come and go, each leavinga small imprint on her hardened heart. Moheeb was one of her favourites, thoughshe never showed it openly.
