Hey, everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the summer. 🌟 I'm reaching out because I'm in a bit of a dilemma, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice.

As many of you know, the sequel to *Betrothed to Jack Frost* has been eagerly anticipated, but unfortunately, I've been stuck in a tricky situation with my publisher. Due to the challenges brought on by COVID-19, my publisher has had to limit their yearly book releases. This has left me in a tough spot, as they legally own the rights to my story, but are unwilling to publish the book at this time.
Will they want to publish it in the future? Who knows, honestly.

My current contract is about to expire, and I'm faced with a major decision. If I choose to renew with the publisher, the first book will remain available in stores, but I won't be able to post the full sequel here on Wattpad due to the rights being with the publisher. It would be another five year contract.  On the flip side, if I decide not to renew, the rights to my story, including the sequel, would revert back to me. This would allow me to re-release an edited version of *Betrothed to Jack Frost* and share the long-awaited sequel with you all.

The idea of leaving the safety of my current publishing situation feels a bit like cliff diving—I'm excited about the possibilities, but it's definitely a leap into the unknown. I want to make the best decision not just for me, but for all of you who have supported my work through the years. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! Should I take the leap and risk it for the chance to bring you the sequel here on Wattpad, or play it safe and renew with my publisher?

Your opinions mean the world to me, so please drop a comment or message with what you think. Thank you all for your continued support and patience—it truly means everything. ❤️
