KENNA MAKES HER WAY UP TO HER ROOM. Her and Klaus had taken a small walk around the house to calm themselves down after the small tiff in the sitting room. After making sure the older male would be okay alone, Kenna had left, hoping to get a small nap in before the funeral.
Taking a moment to look around the room she's been stuffed up in for at least ten years, Kenna slowly makes her way in, sitting down on her bed.
A vanity sits against one wall holding small trinkets gifted to her. Jewelry, coins, and small hair accessories, the most precious gifts were the ones she wore currently.
On another wall, next to her dresser sat a bookshelf carrying a few books she had found around her home. Many involved information about time paradoxes, or theories on the butterfly effect. There were also a few magazines starring the others, when younger, in interviews or cheesy teen magazines.
Laying down on her bed, Kenna closes her eyes, she can hear a faint melody that starts to slowly gain volume. 'I Think We're Alone Now' playing from down the hall. Keeping her eyes closed, Kenna softly starts to hum along to the song, dozing in and out of sleep.
Kenna feels content, happier than she had earlier on...of course that doesn't last for long.
A loud rumble shakes the building, waking her up. Her metal trinkets fly to the wall, sticking there as if there is a giant magnet on the other side. Kenna quickly gets up and rushes to her door, out in the hallway stood both Luther and Allison.
There's another loud rumble and what sounds like electricity coming from the back of the house. Luther is quick to makes his way towards the sound, the two females following close behind, dodging anything metal flying towards the walls.
Making it outside an unexpected strong gust of wind nearly knocks Kenna off her feet. After stabilizing herself, the young girl looks up, spotting a giant, glowing, blue portal that seems to be radiating energy. In front of her stood Luther, Diego, and Vanya, all having gotten out there first.
"What is it?!" Vanya looks over at Luther, distress written all across her face. Moving closer towards the three, Kenna takes a moment to just stare at the big anomaly. Something about the color and electricity coming from it seemed familiar.
Continuing to stare at it, the young girl doesn't realize how close she is to the front of the group. "Don't get too close!" A hand grabs her wrist quickly pulling her back as electricity crackles. Allison, the one who had grabbed her, pulled her back behind the group. "Yeah, no shit."
"Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly," Luther starts. Kenna recalls the few books she has up in her room which surround theories on those types of anomalies; however, the one thing that stuck out in each book was that they all had a relation to some kind of disruption in the spacetime continuum, mostly related to time travel. "Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two."
"Pretty big difference there, Paul Bunyan," Diego mocks. "Out of the way!" A certain someone runs by, carrying a fire extinguisher. Her attention quickly deviates away from the portal and towards said person.
"What are you-" Before Luther can finish his sentence Klaus rushes past and tries to extinguish the anomaly. After realizing that wouldn't work he instead chooses to throw said extinguisher into the anomaly
"What is that gonna do?!" Allison asks exasperated, letting go of Kenna as the younger girl quickly makes her way to Klaus. "I don't know. Do you have a better idea?" Quickly grabbing the drama queen's hand, Kenna drags him with her behind everyone, taking a quick moment to look him over.
A loud shot of electricity spikes as they make it to the back of the group. Holding onto the older mans hand tightly, Kenna continues to stare at the anomaly that seems to be getting even more unstable. Luther pushes everyone back, shielding them with himself, "Everyone get behind me!" He yells out, Diego coming up next to him. "Yeah, get behind us!"
Kenna squeezes Klaus' hand as another strike of lightning shoots out. "I vote for running, c'mon!" Klaus shrieks, pulling Kenna along side him, hoping to make it out quickly. Kenna nods with him, ready and on board to book it as soon as they can. Her free hand sits by her side, and, just for a moment, it changes temperature, getting colder as she feels a small tug, seemingly pulling her in the opposite direction.
Turning her head towards the feeling she quickly realizes no one is there. Deeming it as just the wind, she lets it go.
Looking back towards the problem at hand, Kenna begins to make out a face. Something that looks distorted by the lightning. Letting go of Klaus' hand she moves towards the others up front, hoping to get a better look at whoever it may be.
As she makes it to the front of the group everything stops and the body of a boy her age falls to the ground with a thud.
Five Hargreeves, Number Five. He has the ability to teleport; however, their father pushed him to try and learn to time travel as well. That's what had initially spiked Kenna's interest on the topic.
Five disappeared after an argument with their father, running out and never being seen again. Until today that is. Sixteen years, four months, and fourteen days later. The young girl had heard Pogo mention it to Vanya.
"Does anyone else see...little Number Five, or is that just me?" Klaus asks out of breath. Kenna moves with the group, still standing front and center, staring at the boy who she had believed was gone for good.
"Shit."

Alright. So as many may have known season four for Umbrella Academy has recently come out. If you have already watched the season you probably know what I am getting ready to talk about. If not, small SPOILER WARNING AHEAD!
+++++SPOILER+++++
I would really like some input, because personally, I hate how The Umbrella Academy ended. Should I stick with it, modify, or rewrite it entirely
If I were to continue with the OG, small details and everything, It'd be a very angsty ending. (Including the stupid unneeded scene with Lila and Five together.)
If I revised it, it'd still be somewhat sad but have a few key details changed about it.
And finally if I rewrote it all together I'd try to make it a happy ending for everyone.
I know that considering we are not all to close to that point it seems to be a bit overkill asking now, but I would like people to give their opinions on it. And once I figure it out I will have to come up with a few plots and revise episodes and so on. I really just wanted to give myself some more time with the thought process of everything.
I am all for giving everyone a happy ending but I am also writing this for other people's enjoyment as well so I would like to know what others would like to read about more.
:)
