Alright everyone, I am saying thank you a million times! This entire story is coming together better than I ever could have planned. I am excited to be writing this, as well as extremely happy and enouraged by the people reading it.

This chapter is a slower one, not much happening, but as always, I have a few twists and turns up my sleeve!

Now I give you Chapter Thirteen.

Very carefully, Sadie climbed out of the bed she and Jude had passed out in, right after the their little show down.

Holy shit, that hadn't actually happened. Had it?

Sadie took a moment to look down at herself, only to realize she was bare ass naked. Yep, that had definately happened.

Grinning a small, satisfied grin, Sadie practically pranced into the bathroom, still smiling like a fool as she started the shower.

She was no stranger to sex. It was something physical, there was no real meaning. At least, that was how she had come to look at things.

After all that had happened though, she was relieved to have found some kind of relief.

Stepping under the hot spray, she tilted her head back and savored the feeling of the water running down her back, shoulders and chest.

What had happened last night had been huge. Something of epic proportions. There had been something explosive, magical and it happened between them.

After a quick shampoo and condition, Sadie hopped out of the shower, drying off before wrapping herself in an oversized towel.

Despite the events that had taken place, she was feeling pretty alright. Yes, the situation sucked and the no longer human aspect of things was going to take some getting used to, but she had been around vampires since she was sixteen.

Sadly, she knew the drill. Only now she was going to have to get to know her body and understand her needs.

Deciding to leave the worrying thoughts behind, Sadie knotted her thick curls up on her head and slipped back into the bedroom. Quickly slipping into a pair of shorts and a loose tee-shirt she found in a duffle, Sadie headed for the door.

Nickolas froze, one hand wrapped around the handle of the coffee pot, the other wrapped around a clean mug.

"Shouldn't you still be resting?" His voice was soft, gentle as he addressed his sister.

"I actually feel pretty good right now," She shot him a smile and covered the distance from door to counter. Bracing her hands on the edge, she launched herself up and onto the heavy marble top.

He wasn't too sure what to make of their situation. Some part of him wanted to beg her to understand that he hadn't forgotten about her, another part of him wanted to scold her for stooping to such a level and then part of him wanted to understand.

"I didn't ditch town and dogde you for the hell of it," Sadie mumbled from beside him.

It had been years since he had seen his sister. This was definately not how he imagined their meeting.

"I didn't have much of a choice Nikki, you have to understand,"

He felt something land on his shoulder. Tilting his head, he eyed Sadie carefully.

"Damn it Nick, gimme something here. I know this isn't really where we thought we would end up, but we are here and there isn't a damned thing we can do about it,"

He turned at her outburst, wrapping his arms around her in a tight embrace before laying a soft kiss to her forehead.

"I don't blame you Sadie, sadly, this could have happened to anyone. Shit, it happens all the time. It isn't pretty, but that doesn't change things,"
