Mark had barely managed to get any sleep that night. His mind kept drifting back to the dinner at Jenna's house and the undeniable connection he had felt with Donghyuck. It was confusing, to say the least. He was in a relationship with Jenna, yet there was something magnetic about her brother that he couldn't ignore.

The following day, Mark tried to bury his thoughts in his studies, but it was no use. Every now and then, his mind would wander, and he'd find himself replaying conversations with Donghyuck. By the time evening rolled around, he was no closer to understanding his feelings but decided to push them aside for the time being.

Mark had planned a quiet night of studying, but his phone buzzed with a message from Jenna.

"Hey, want to come over? Just hanging out with some friends."

Mark hesitated. He wasn't sure if he was ready to face Donghyuck again so soon, but he didn't want to seem distant to Jenna either. Taking a deep breath, he typed out a reply.

"Sure, I'll be there in 20."

When Mark arrived at Jenna's place, he could hear the faint sound of music and laughter spilling out from the open windows. He knocked on the door, and Jenna greeted him with a bright smile.

"Hey! Come in," she said, pulling him inside.

Mark entered the living room, where a small group of friends were gathered, chatting and laughing. His eyes immediately sought out Donghyuck, who was lounging on the couch, looking effortlessly cool. Donghyuck's eyes met Mark's, and he flashed a mischievous grin.

"Hey, Mark! Glad you could join us," Donghyuck said, patting the empty space next to him.

Mark swallowed hard, trying to steady his racing heart. He took a seat next to Donghyuck, feeling the warmth of his presence. The group quickly fell back into their conversations, and Mark found himself relaxing slightly.

"So, how was your day?" Donghyuck asked, leaning in closer so Mark could hear him over the noise.

"It was alright," Mark replied, trying to keep his voice steady. "A bit busy with schoolwork."

"Yeah, I get that," Donghyuck said, nodding. "I had some stuff to take care of too."

Mark was curious about what Donghyuck did all day, but before he could ask, Jenna appeared with a tray of drinks.

"Here you go, guys," she said, handing them each a cup. "Let's toast to a fun night!"

Everyone raised their cups, and Mark couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as he clinked his cup with Donghyuck's. Jenna was right there, so sweet and oblivious, and here he was, grappling with feelings for her brother.

The night went on, and as the group settled into a game of cards, Mark found himself laughing and joking with Donghyuck as if they were old friends. The ease with which they connected was undeniable, and it only made things more complicated.

At one point, Mark excused himself to the kitchen to get some air. He needed a moment to clear his head. As he stood by the sink, sipping water and staring out the window, he heard footsteps behind him.

"Hey, you okay?" Donghyuck's voice was soft, concerned.

Mark turned to see Donghyuck standing there, his eyes filled with genuine worry. "Yeah, just needed a moment," Mark replied, forcing a smile.

Donghyuck stepped closer, his expression serious. "Look, I know this might sound weird, but... I feel like there's something going on here. Between us."

Mark's heart skipped a beat. He had been so wrapped up in his own confusion that he hadn't considered that Donghyuck might feel the same way. "I... I don't know what to say," Mark stammered.

Donghyuck sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm not trying to make things complicated. I just... I can't ignore it. There's something here, right?"

Mark looked into Donghyuck's eyes, seeing the sincerity and vulnerability there. He took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his words. "Yeah, there is. But I don't know what to do about it."

Before Donghyuck could respond, they heard Jenna calling from the living room. "Mark, Donghyuck, where are you guys? We're starting a new game!"

Donghyuck gave Mark a lingering look before nodding. "Let's go. We'll figure this out later."

As they rejoined the group, Mark's mind was racing. He didn't know what the future held, but one thing was clear: his life had just become a lot more complicated, and Lee Donghyuck was at the heart of it all.
