Notes: So question regarding Ric and Isobel, we know that she kept Elena secret from him, but would she hide two children or admit to one?? Basically would Ric know if Isobel had Tansy or not?? I feel like it would be a good way to really plant that relationship between Tansy and Elena, if Ric admits to Jenna that he knew about Tansy being Isobel's daughter. That he knew she had a kid out there. Perhaps because of the different circumstances with Tansy, with her being a magical child, unlike Elena.

Also any HP creatures or beings you would like to see in TVD? Anything you think might be lingering around Mystic Falls, given its history of magic and supernatural beings and stuff??

........

Tansy stands at the bar waiting for the bartender to finish with his current patron. It is relatively busy for a teen organized event. Though there are a lot more adults than is probably appropriate but perhaps it's not a closed event. She lets out a breath and glances at the bartender as he reaches her.

"An old fashioned, please" She asks, leaning on the counter and smiling at the bartender.

"ID, please" He counters, reflecting her smile back at her. She hums and pulls her bag up to pull out the fake ID that she has, something she and Harry both got, along with Hermione and Ron, when they were hunting Horcruxes. Hermione, once again, with that idea, along with the passports. Just as an extra security measure. This ID has them as slightly older than their actual ages, not that it matters much in the UK, the drinking age there is 18 and the magical community isn't as strict about it. They were all drinking mead and butterbeer at 15. She holds up the ID and the bartender leans in closer to look at it. He hums in acknowledgement of the ID and the moves to make up her drink. Tansy slides the ID back into her bag. She slides herself up onto the stool and sets her little bag onto the bar top next to her drink when the bartender sets it down. She lets out a breath and hands over the cash needed. Thankfully, she has some American money exchanged. Not a lot, and she needs to do some more soon if she is staying here. She is running out.

Someone approaches her, lingering at her side waiting for her to acknowledge them. She isn't going to. She is still dealing with the whole Bonnie thing. Trying to work out if she should be reporting it. It might not seem like a huge deal, but if everyone let things like this slide then it builds up. But one teenager finding out her best friend is a witch, it could be allowed to slide. This once. She just has to find a way to spin it in her head that makes sense. The stranger clears his throat to get her attention. She lets out a breath through her nose. This time, she is sober, so she understands just what she is feeling, what she feels across her skin. Vampire. She's never actually felt it before, only read about that feeling. It's like a magical tingle when around dark magic, and vampires are born of dark magic. She's gotten used to that feeling over the years.

"Tansy, right?" The stranger asks, she hums and turns to him, looking confused as to who he is and why he has decided to talk to her. "We've met" He tells her and she gives him a look.

"We did?" She asks him, he hums and nods.

"Halloween" He answers and she tilts her head trying to remember anything from Halloween. She knows she came here, but she drank a lot and wasn't in the right headspace. "I thought you were Elena" Tansy glances over at Elena who is standing with Bonnie, the two of them watching her with this guy. Elena looks far more concerned than she should for a stranger.

"Right" She states and turns back to this strange.

"Damon" He motions to himself. "You're new to town, right?" He asks, taking the seat next to her. Tansy takes a drink from her glance as she watches him. She sets her glass down and lets out a breath.

"I've been here a few months" She answers, drawing her finger around the rim of the glass.

"British?" He counters, she hums in agreement. "So why Mystic Falls?"

"I'm visiting a friend," She counters.

"You're not very chatty, are you?" He asks her, she lets out a breath through her nose and taps her nails on the bar top.

"Depends" She answers and he waits for her to continue but that's it. She has no interest in talking to him. She came here for Bonnie, because she asked, but her mood has been soured by that interaction outside. She hasn't had a huge exposure to vampires. She knows of them, obviously, but it is not like they did show and tell in Defense Against the Dark Arts, not very often anyway. Lupin and Faux Moody actually did more hands-on teaching than any of the others. Vampires weren't really anything more than a subject to be studied, but she knows enough about them to know to be cautious. He suddenly grabs her arm and she turns her head to look at him.

"Who are you?" He asks, his eyes dilating and then retracting. He's attempting to compel her. But she's a witch, and only mind control spells work on them. She narrows her eyes at him.

"Immobulus" She whispers, casting the spell on him to stop him moving. She reaches over and uncurls his hand from her arm, dropping it into his lap. "You really shouldn't poke your nose into places where it's not wanted" She tells him as she stands, grabbing her bag and her drink before turning back to him. "I know what you are," She tells him and her eyes flicker to his lips, specifically looking at his fangs, she curls her lip up a little and then lets out a long breath through her nose. "You have no business with me nor I with you, let's keep it that way....hmm, vampire?" She releases the spell and he slumps against the bar, his eyes turning to glare at her. She smirks a little and then walks away, opting to find a booth or a table to sit at instead. Breaks in the secrecy laws, now vampires. She thought this was going to be an easy mentoring thing. A few months or something teaching Bonnie some starter spells, set her up a few books to extend her studies herself. How can she leave knowing that there is a vampire here? At least without making sure Bonnie can protect herself from them. She's not ready for those spells yet.
