Days turned into weeks, and the tension between Y/n and her father grew more palpable. Y/n felt the weight of her father's disapproval pressing down on her, while Kartik struggled to remain optimistic despite the mounting pressure. Their love was strong, but the obstacles seemed insurmountable.

One evening, Y/n was sitting in her room, staring at a photo of her and Kartik when she heard a knock on her door. It was her mother, Y/m, looking concerned.

"Y/n, beta, there's something you need to know," Y/m said, sitting beside her daughter.

"What is it, Mum?" Y/n asked, her heart pounding.

Y/m took a deep breath. "Your father has been talking to an old family friend, Mr. Sharma. He wants to arrange a marriage for you with Mr. Sharma's son, Rohan."

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "What? But I love Kartik! How can Papa even think about arranging my marriage to someone else?"

Y/m sighed. "Your father believes Rohan can provide the stability and security he wants for you. He's convinced this is the best choice for your future."

Y/n's world spun. She couldn't imagine a life without Kartik. "I won't marry anyone else, Mum. I'll fight for Kartik and me."

Meanwhile, at Kartik's house, he was confiding in his sister, Kritika. "I don't know what else to do, Kritika. Y/n's father is determined to keep us apart."

Kritika's eyes flashed with determination. "We'll figure something out, bhai. Maybe we can talk to someone who can help us convince Uncle."

Just then, their conversation was interrupted by the doorbell. Kartik opened the door to find Mr. Sharma standing there, his expression stern.

"Kartik, may I have a word with you?" Mr. Sharma asked, stepping inside.

Kartik nodded, leading him to the living room. "Of course, Mr. Sharma. Please, have a seat."

Mr. Sharma wasted no time. "I've heard about your relationship with Y/n and her father's disapproval. I need to know your intentions, Kartik. My son, Rohan, is a good match for Y/n, and her father is considering this alliance seriously."

Kartik's heart sank. "Mr. Sharma, I love Y/n deeply. My intentions are pure. I want to build a future with her, but her father's refusal is making it difficult."

Mr. Sharma's expression softened slightly. "I can see you're sincere, Kartik. But love isn't always enough. You need to prove to Y/n's father that you can provide for her and offer the stability he desires."

Kartik's determination flared. "I'll do whatever it takes, Mr. Sharma. I won't give up on Y/n."

After Mr. Sharma left, Kartik called Y/n, his voice filled with urgency. "Y/n, we need to talk. Your father is considering an alliance with Rohan."

Y/n's heart raced. "I know, Kartik. Mum told me. I won't let it happen. We need a plan."

The next day, Kartik and Y/n met at a quiet park to discuss their options. They sat on a bench, their hands intertwined, drawing strength from each other.

"Kartik, we need to show my father that we're serious about our future together. Maybe if he sees how committed we are, he'll reconsider," Y/n suggested.

Kartik nodded. "Agreed. We should also gather support from others who believe in us. Maybe we can talk to your father's friends or respected community members."

As they brainstormed, Y/n received a call from Priya. "Y/n, I need to tell you something important. Rohan isn't as perfect as everyone thinks. He has a reputation for gambling and irresponsible behavior. I thought you should know."

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "Thank you, Priya. This changes everything. We need to expose the truth about Rohan to my father."

Kartik and Y/n devised a plan. They would gather evidence of Rohan's gambling habits and confront Y/n's father with the truth. It was a risky move, but they had no other choice.

Days later, Y/n's father, Y/d, received an anonymous package containing photos and documents proving Rohan's gambling activities. His face turned red with anger as he realized the truth.

That evening, Y/d confronted Y/n. "Is this true? Did you know about Rohan's gambling?"

Y/n met her father's gaze, her voice steady. "No, Papa, I didn't. But Kartik and I found out, and we couldn't let you make a mistake. Rohan isn't the right choice for me."

Y/d's anger simmered. "And you think Kartik is?"

Y/n nodded firmly. "Yes, Papa. Kartik is hardworking, honest, and he loves me. He's willing to prove himself to you."

Y/d sighed heavily, his resolve wavering. "I don't want you to make a mistake, Y/n. But perhaps I was too harsh on Kartik. I'll give him a chance to prove himself."

Hope flickered in Y/n's heart. "Thank you, Papa. That's all I ask."

Kartik, upon hearing the news, felt a surge of determination. He knew he had to seize this opportunity. He met with Y/d the next day, laying out his plans and ambitions, showing his dedication to building a stable and loving future for Y/n.

Y/d listened carefully, his skepticism slowly giving way to cautious optimism. "Kartik, I'm not an easy man to convince. But I see your dedication. Prove to me that you can provide for Y/n, and you'll have my blessing."

Kartik nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "I will, sir. I promise."

As the days turned into weeks, Kartik worked tirelessly to build his career and secure a future for Y/n. He faced countless challenges, but his love for Y/n fueled his determination. Y/n stood by his side, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.

Their journey was far from over, but they faced the future with hope and resilience.
