As soon as you stepped foot out of your room, Geto was on his feet. He had a half-full glass of water in his grasp that he placed on the coffee table before striding over to you. He was breathless as he looked you over.
You smiled timidly, fidgeting with your purse as you looked down. Gently, he put a finger beneath your chin and angled your head upwards.
"You look beautiful, princess."
You grinned up at him, your hair styled and makeup applied to your liking. He thought it was impossible for you to get any cuter, but here you were. It was as if the man had been lucky enough to see the Gods above, his eyes twinkling brightly as if blessed with something otherworldly in his vision.
You were simply a goddess in his eyes. It was unfair how beautiful you were. In his chest, his heart was thudding rapidly as it beat harshly at the sight of you before him.
He almost dropped to his knees to worship you. Currently, he was thanking every God above for blessing him with you.
Suguru Geto was whipped, utterly and completely enamored.
"Thank you," You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, "You ready?"
He grinned, nodding and offering a hand to you.
It wasn't long until you two arrived at the restaurant, like he said it was fancy but nothing too over the top. An uneasy feeling pinched your gut as you walked in. You could feel the eyes lingering on you.
Geto bent down slightly, hand on the small of your back as your waitress led you two to a table, "They're just admiring you, doll." You blushed, eyes flicking up to his face. He stood straight now, eyes ahead. He smiled without looking at you. The hand on your back rubbed soothingly to ease your nerves.
You blushed and the hostess came to a halt, "Here's your table. Your waiter will arrive in a few moments to take your drink orders."
Geto pulled a chair out for you before sitting down.
"Such a gentleman, Geto." You giggled.
"Only for you, Y/N."
You grinned sweetly, looking over the drink menu before settling on a simple wine. He decided to order the same, and the waitress appeared moments after you two decided. Trying to ignore the way she looked at Geto, you toyed with your hair and stared down at the menu.
"Hey," The waitress smirked at him, slightly leaning closer as she spoke, "What can I get for you?"
He cleared his throat, eyes flicking to you as he ordered his drink. A pit formed in his stomach as he looked at you, and took in how reserved you became. The waitress turned her attention to you, her smirk instantly dropping and her seductive tone turning bland.
"Uhm, same as him..." You spoke quietly, eyes downcast and voice slightly wavering.
"Can you speak up?"
"She said the same thing as me." Geto cut in, voice firm and hand patting your thigh beneath the table. Your eyes met and he smiled slightly. The waitress scoffed under her breath as she walked away.
He leaned in, whispering in your ear, "Don't mind her, princess. She's jealous because she looks like dog shit on the bottom of my shoe."
A light giggle escaped from you as you lifted your head. He grinned at you, grabbing your hand across the table. You smiled sweetly at him, squeezing his hand softly. His ringed fingers were cold, a contrast to your warm hands.
The two of you looked over the appetizers together. Geto, as usual, couldn't hold back from making sarcastic comments or joking which elicited laughs from you that tugged at his heartstrings. After a few moments, the same waitress returned with two glasses of wine in her hands.
She gently placed a glass in front of Geto. She turned to you, placing the glass more harshly causing some wine to spill over onto your dress. You gasped, but luckily the black material hid the mark.
"The fuck. Why'd you slam her glass?"
The waitress turned to him innocently, widening her eyes slightly. You could see she was playing coy, and it was somewhat frustrating to you. Tears of annoyance build up in your ducts.
"I didn't mean to! I'm soooo sorry." She turned to you, narrowing her eyes and scowling. "I'll get you some napkins."
"No, it's ok." You spoke softly, attempting to hide your agitation. She smirked. You averted your eyes to Geto who was watching the interaction intently, his brows knitted together. His hand was still in yours and he gently ran his thumb across your knuckles. His expression was sour.
"Anyways," She turned to him, "What can I get you to eat?" She grinned slightly, hand slyly sliding down her body. If you weren't looking deep into the interaction, the action could've been taken as her rubbing her hand off on her clothes, but you knew the hidden meaning.
"I'll stick to what's on the menu, and what's in front of me." He eyed you, "I'll take the steak."
Her cocky, suggestive demeanor faltered the slightest before she regained her composure. You blushed. His hand squeezed yours.
"Uhm, right. How would you like that cooked?" The waitress muttered. Geto smirked at you. You slightly raised your brows, cheeks still heated.
"I like it with some pink."
Both yours and the waitress's eyes widened. A blush heated your face up. Her mouth fell ajar before she shook her head.
"And, uhm, for you?"
You put your order in and she rushed away. The whole way back to the kitchen she kept her head down. You turned to your still-smirking date.
"Geto!"
"Yes, princess?" His smirk turned into a shit-eating grin. You giggled and shook your head at his antics.
"I can't believe you just said that!" You sipped your wine, giggling into the glass. "That's so embarrassing!"
He chuckled and squeezed your hand, "How? I was just ordering my steak, doll." He feigned innocence and stuck his pierced tongue out at you. You shook your head, still blushing and hiding your lips behind your glass.
It wasn't long before your food arrived, this time a different waiter delivered it to your table. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see the previous girl watching with disdain from a far-off corner. Beside her was another waitress who she whispered back and forth with as they stared in your direction.
You turned your attention back to Geto as he spoke, "So, preschool teacher, huh?" He grinned, and you nodded. Your face lit up at the mention of your job. You absolutely loved working with toddlers and teaching them the basics such as putting their shoes on the right feet and how to sit patiently.
"Yeah, I love it. It's like the best job I could ever ask for." A wide grin settled upon your face as you spoke, eyes sparkling as you spoke.
"It suits you."
"Tattooing suits you."
He smiled, looking down at his steak as he cut into it. You sneakily admired the way his tattooed and muscled arms moved. Smiling to himself, noticing your gaze Geto looked up to you.
"It's one of my favorite things in the world." He smiled. "I could do it forever until I die."
You smiled back and looked down at your plate, "Thank you for dinner, by the way."
"You deserve the best, princess."
