June woke up first and jumped to her feet."Ah, here we are," she said.
Flynn got up and groaned rubbing his head.
Lani also woke.
"Where is here exactly?" Lani asked.
"How should I know?" June said.
"What do you mean, 'How should I know'?!" Flynn exclaimed.
"Simple, you see, when breaking the fourth wall you go into the fourth dimension where our Creator takes us and puts us in a different universe of her making. It looks like we're in my universe." June said, "Let's go!"
"Let's go?!" Lani exclaimed in astonishment, "You just kidnapped us! You deserve to go to jail!"
"What's jail?" June asked.
"What do you mean? It's where people go for punishment for committing crimes," Lani explained, confusedly.
"Huh. Here we just throw people in the River," June shrugged.
"What?" Flynn and Lani said in unison.
"What do you mean 'what'? I think I explained it quite clearly," June said, offended.
Lani blinked a few times, staring at June, then shook her head and said, "Nevermind, let us go home!"
"I can't do that," June said.
"Why not?" Flynn accused.
"Because if I found the place where you can break the fourth wall then it wouldn't work for you," June said, "You see the issue."
Flynn sighed, Lani groaned, June was smiling like there was no tomorrow.
"Anyway, let's go!" June said.
Flynn and Lani followed June to her house, which wasn't a house, it was the inside of a tree.
Flynn lied down on her couch and fell asleep while Lani raided pantry.
"Is this how houseguests behave in your universe?" June questioned.
"Well to be fair, you did bring us to an alternate universe without our permission so the least you can do is let us be bad house guests," Lani shot back.
June rolled her eyes and went back to preparing food. Lani found an apple and went outside to eat it and walk around. Then, as she was about to take a second bite, she saw a boy with blonde hair, nearly white.
'Hmm,' she thought.
He noticed her staring at him and walked up to her.
"Hi! I've never seen you before, what's your name?" the boy asked. "I'm Lani," Lani said, warily, avoiding his outstretched hand.
"That is a very weird name. I'm December Dallas Davis," he said, "Everyone calls me December though."
"What?" Lani said, confused. Then, she pieced it together.
"Oh, you all are named after a month. Doesn't that mean that there's only twelve people here?"
"No?" December said, "What's a month?"
"What's a mon-? Nevermind, this world is so weird," Lani said.
"Why?" December questioned.
"Just because," Lani said. She looked at the sky, it was still bright. Then out of nowhere, it was night.
"What the?!" she exclaimed.
"What is it?" December asked.
"The sky just went dark!" she said.
"That's normal, you aren't from here are you?" he said.
"Not really, where'd the Sun go anyway?" she asked.
"What's a Sun?" he asked.
"The big hot star that just disappeared," she said.
"Do you mean the Bit?" he asked.
"What? Nevermind, sure," she said.
"Well, you see, all the stars and planets orbit Earth and the Bit speeds up orbit at one point which causes day and night," December explained.
"Hmm," Lani said, "This is a very interesting world. Anyway bye!"
December waved goodbye and then walked away.
Lani finished her apple on the way back to June's tree. Then, there, she fell asleep.
"HEY! I Just finished making my mother's casserole recipe and you all fall asleep!" June exclaimed.
It's not my fault.
"It kinda is though," June said, grumpily.
Whatever.
