June fell asleep pretty soon after eating casserole and stuffing the leftovers in the ice.Lani had a dream, a rather odd one.
Anyway, she was a bird and she was watching from the sky as December whispered to June. December started laughing and June walked away. Lani followed June to a cave where she became a human again and then started glowing. June became a fairy and then pushed Lani away. Lani fell off a cliff and woke up with that weird jump that sometimes happens when you're asleep and feel like you just fell off a cliff.
"That was very weird," Lani whispered to herself.
She walked downstairs and looked out the window where the Sun, or the Bit seemed to just appear in the sky.
"Hmm," Lani said. June woke up yawning and came downstairs.
Flynn tried to block the Bitlight from his eyes and ended up falling off the couch. He stood up and yawned.
June took the leftovers out of the ice and warmed them up in the microwave.
"Casserole anyone?" June offered.
"Sure," Lani said, happily.
As they were eating, Lani asked, "So how would we get back to our world?"
"You just run into walls and go unconsious until you find the special wall that lets you travel to a different universe," June said, "Guess how many concussions I've gotten from that."
Lani looked at June like she was crazy, which she kind of was.
"I don't think I trust that method very much," Lani said. June asked, "Why not?" "Probably because it made you crazy," Flynn said.
This offended June, "Hey!"
After they ate, Lani and June went on a walk outside next to the River.
"So, my DOBby (pronounced dobby) is soon," June said.
"What does that mean?" Lani asked.
"DOB, Date Of Birth and then the -by is just for fun," June explained.
"So your birthday?" Lani said.
"I guess if that is what you call it in your world," June said.
They were both quiet for a long moment.
"So any idea where the special wall is?" Lani asked.
"Not really, but right before I run into a wall I notice a green gem there," June said.
"Hmm," Lani said.
They heard a few talking around some bushes and decided to listen. Lani recognized one of the voices as December and the others she didn't recognize.
"Those are December and January, they're best friends. There is also April and September," June said.
"I know December, I met him yesterday," Lani said.
"Oh," was all June said.
"We need to get rid of June for this!" January said.
June and Lani looked at each other with confused and panicked faces.
"Maybe we can get Lani to help," December said.
"Who's Lani?" April asked.
"One of June's friends, it might be hard to separate them at first. But once we have, the plan will work out perfectly," December said, "Go tell the others."
There was the sound of footsteps running away.
Lani came out from behind the bush with June.
"June? Lani? How long have you guys been behind there?" December asked.
"Enough time to hear what it is you're doing," Lani said.
"You deserve to be in the River," June said.
"Wait, what? It's really not that serious," December said, his voice a bit panicked.
"It very much is," Lani said.
The girls kept walking towards him until he was on the edge of the River.
"I don't think that pla-" December said, but was cut off when Lani pushed him in the water.
They went home and told Flynn about what had happened. "We need to get out of here immediately!" Flynn said.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Flynn opened the door, and there was December soaking wet and out of breath.
"What are you doing here?" Flynn asked.
"I just wanted ... to ask June ... what she ... thought I was ... doing?" December said between gasps for air.
June came to the door, "You were obviously trying to get rid of me!"
"What?!" December exclaimed.
"Yeah!" Lani said.
"We were trying to plan a surprise DOB party for you!" December said.
"Well, then why'd you guys say you needed to get rid of me?" June said.
"So we could set up. We needed to get you out of your house and keep you occupied so you wouldn't figure us out!" December said.
"Then, why'd you say that once you'd separated me and June that the plan would work out? Hmm?" Lani questioned.
"Because we needed you to help us and we know you guys are together a lot. So we needed to get you away from June for enough time that we could explain the plan and have you help us keep her occupied while we set up," December explained.
"Oh, now I feel stupid," June said with a small laugh.
"That's not a new thing for you?" Flynn said under his breath.
Lani elbowed Flynn at this.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Flynn asked.
"Insulting my bestie!" Lani said.
Flynn looked at Lani with confusion on his face.
Then, he looked at everyone else there.
"I think this place is wearing off on you Lani," Flynn said.
"So what?" Lani asked, "I'm still a rockstar, I got my rock moves and I don't need you!"
June and December looked at her confusedly.
Flynn said, "You stole that from P!nk."
"Yes I did!" Lani said.
