Chapter 17:
It was shocking, and I found myself completely at a loss for words. It was a new and unfamiliar experience that I hadn't encountered before. It was something I wasn’t prepared for, and it threw me off balance. Nasanay kasi akong puro lalaki ang nag coconfess sakin, so this was a significant shift for me.
Silas Herrera:
Good evening, Pansy!
Philline Requena:
Magandang gabi rin.😮💨
Silas Herrera:
Are you good?
Something is clearly wrong.
I'll call you and you're gonna talk to me.
Philline Requena:
Malapit na mag umaga oh.
Huwag ka na magpuyat, just sleep.
Maaga schedule nyo bukas diba?
Silas Herrera:
Kaya kong mag multi task, Pansy.
We'll video call, or I'm coming over?
Mabilis akong napabalikwas mula sa pagkakahiga at tumingin sa orasan.
Philline Requena:
12 am naaa! Baliw ka!
Silas Herrera:
So, what? It’s not too late.
And what do you want to eat? I’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Just let me know your cravings.
Philline Requena:
Pizza po. 🍕
Silas Herrera:
Yon lang? Wala kang panulak?
Send me your address. I’ll arrange for the food to be delivered to you.
I wasn’t expecting anything in particular, but after spending an hour and a few minutes staring at the ceiling, I heard my phone vibrating. Pagtingin ko, tumatawag si Silas sa Instagram.
"Hello?" bati ko.
Rinig ko ang mga kaluskos na nagmumula sa kabilang linya, as if he was moving around or adjusting something.
